I think I might have cracked the Angelina code. Angelina has the ability to create a world around every one of the songs she sings, she emerged herself into this world that she created and can sing with unmatched passion, she then take her listeners gently by the hand and lead each one into the world she created so everyone feels that way she does...pure magic🎉!!!
Beautifully summed up Michelle. A stunning, beautifully crafted E.P. Each song has so much in it. With all Angelina songs you discover something more each time you listen. There are classic songs right there. She has this gifted capacity to make a song evergreen, certainly beyond the time it was written...and it cuts across the generations....a rare talent indeed ..and a rare treat for us.
I think Republic records brought a team of musicians and writers to work with Angelina to create a signature sound bring together all her vocal skills and abilities. In such a dramatic way and is a departure from anything she's done since "Old Enough's" release. ALL six tracks are treasures. But my favourite tracks in order "it's my fault" "Good in goodbyes" And the incredible "Diamond". I don't know it might be the soul R&B Urban classic vibe but they brought out the most passion and fire in her voice.
