I've heard them cover this live twice. First time, I cried most of the time bc it was the most goddmann beautiful thing ever. And it was 3 days after my dad died. Not a great story, I know, but it was 8 of the most amazing minutes of my life bc Doug can just do that for you.
My favorite part of the show was watching you take several pictures of yourself. Start a bar where everyone must have a card tab with their ID during shows and if you pull your phone out 20% gratuity is added and your ID photo is placed on a wall of selfie shame. That would be my favorite bar.
jerryfalwellsociety read the room, seriously. That is some next level stupidity bringing politics into this. Only a conservative would find it appropriate
@Bill Laswell appreciate the honesty. I won’t speak for Doug, but knowing him I’d bet my retirement on him being liberal. Nevermind, not a fair bet. Dang, that was political. I’m a hypocrite
I filmed this, and I would consider myself pretty conservative when it comes to politics, but what does that have to do with the music? do people have to be so polarized that you can't enjoy the music and musicianship of someone who's political view point isn't shared by you? I hope this isn't so. Most of the crowd there was in their late 20's so out of college, we just look young I guess cause we abstain from crack cocaine. :)

I got emotional hearing this live too. Burlington VT. So fucking beautiful live. Better than The Smiths in my opinion.
Nice just been jamming over it
Beautiful cover of this awesome rock anthym...just f%&king great.
I got goosebumps as soon as that guitar riff started.
Johnny created an iconic riff.
Bo Diddley created that riff, Johnny himself said so
This video is so great you have to watch the whole thing
They did that. Great cover.
Jose Rojo in the crowd at 5:37 lol!
That was beautiful !
as fallout kid says, three thumbs up!
That drummer is slick
He keeps the groove rock steady. This is a tricky one to drum, methinks. easy to push, but it's gotta stay in pocket or it f-ks it up.
having fun that's what it's all about, good Smiths cover! Helps that I like built to spill as well.
Very good
Nice Cover- Well done and looks fun too!
great cover
Love built to spill
God I love this band and I'm in South Africa. Who'd a thunk it
Brett Williams why would that matter
@@defstrikem2743 This covers band or the Smiths?
Just awesome
Tight performance, I'd like a jamjar with you guys
5 Stars!!!
no wonder I couldn't hear the singer clearly... he's vigorously shaking from the vibe of the music!
Sick Gig
❤
I want in.
Agh what are the chances they will play a secret show in St. Louis in October? If there is any how would I find out about it? I'd kill to go.
Think Doug needs to rest the old larynx there!
Jesus.

not horrible
This crowd seriously sucks.
Suburb kid dancing!
I know right. The liberals of todays government. Frightening shit. And little did they know Morrissey is a conservative! lol

@@jerryfalwellsociety Morrissey ain't conservative. It just seems that way because he's kindof an asshole in his gerontocracy
what a song and what a cover. Crowd a joke, looks like they are at a brexit debate.
Colin McCoy this crowd seems fine. As long as they don’t have their phones out, that’s good enough for me.
@@val13c59 just a reference to them being great ... phones not out is great 100% agree
Liberal American college students listening to rightwing British songs - priceless.
Music is universal ya schmuck.
@@bobbitchn5290 Apologies, I'm English, what does 'schmuck' mean, Bob?
@@jerryfalwellsociety It means you'r smart...
@@jerryfalwellsociety I only wish I was as open minded as you are, teach me your ways.
