Thank you!! I've had a goldine pump control for 20 years. On the two nights per year we get near freezing, the stupid thing will go on. I just found this and will implement so I don't have to power off the pool and forget to put it back on.
Great video and I used it to lower the temperature of my freeze protection in the Sacramento area. It was on the factory setting at 38°. Now I want to stop the lights from coming on in my backyard that are connected to the freeze protection. How do I do that?
Thank you!!!!!!!!!! I'm a new pool owner and still learning about all of these idiosyncrasies. I also live in a warm climate (Arizona) and couldn't figure out why there was freeze warning on my system this morning. Finally got the filter to turn off after watching this video.
Thanks for the video! - I have a question regarding the temperature that is reading - here in Houston this morning the temperatures on the device: 32F for the Air and 45F for the Pool. which temperature will activate a 33F setting, Air or pool? The pool didn't show on the display until I turned on the pump. Thanks again.
@@SPL I followed the video and I was able to set it up and test it. Did the same for the waterfall and auxiliary to turn on the cleaner pump as well. Thanks for the video!
Brian Tucker That just indicates a problem with a system it is monitoring. Salt cell could be dirty or a Temp sensor could be bad. Goto the Diagnostic Menu and see what is causing the "check system" to activate. Just scroll through the menu items until you see which on activated it.
Probably the connection in the back of the circuit board had a power surge and got fried. A new circuit board or redoing the burned connection will solve it.
I have a loose wire that looks alike the flow switch wire except it doesn't have the electrical connector. Could that be my pool and spa temp sensor? I am getting an temp sensor error.
Im a new pool owner with the same Goldline panel as the one in the video. Do you know why my date and time keep resetting and all my pumps that were set to run at a certain time don't start?

Stay safe. Crazy in a lot of areas right now. 👍
THANK YOU! I'm in FL and my spa keeps using my gas heater when it comes on for freeze warning.
Glad to help!

Great video! Thanks.
How do I reset the 'check system' that occasionally appears at the top of my Hayward AquaPOD controller?

Thanks so much for responding!
Can you disable or lower the temp for pentair easy touch?
I think you can turn it off. Refer to page 37 here to disable it: www.pentairpool.com/pdfs/EasyTouchICPUG.pdf

Not exactly sure. Pretty odd error. You can call Hayward Tech support in the morning and they can help you.
Thank You! This was very helpful!
Thanks! Appreciate you posting this. Saved me a service call!
Helpful but constant barking dog is distracting.
