Criticisms are allowed in Christianity and it will take your fellow Christians to do. It doesn't mean he is hated or not. St. Paul criticized St. Peter for trying to marginalize the Gentiles. So if MOG went wrong and those who think he should have done better criticized him for that, it doesn't mean he's hated. No one takes criticisms lightly. Our Lord Jesus called St. Peter the devil, the same person Christ told to take care of His sheep. So MOG shouldn't be and above reproach. If he's repented why not?
