Ghent Dub Club #6 at Eskimofabriek with selection from Qualitex Roots Vibration (Kutty QSS), Indica Dubs and the legendary Russ Disciples returning for an exclusive one-time-only session with the man like Jahman Dan on the mic.

A truly amazing dance - blessed to have been able to attend, witness, partake in, and record a slice of history in the dub community. Big up all involved in getting this one to the people.

I think this one is also a Shaka meet Disciples dubplate, made around the same time as the other one Russ played. I don't remember when and where Shaka played it tho

Yeh Shaka was running this at the end of his sessions for his last year or so…all instruments Shaka as he would say !!!!

Is there any particular reason why we don't see Russ playing out dances much or am I just out of the loop?

Russ retired from the soundsystem/ session game ~12 years ago for personal health, he came back to do this one-time-only session after much convincing as Indica handled all the logistics

Yes I believe this was the last time Russ said he would play out, unless he changes his mind which I remain hopeful for 😂
