It's been a long long time at this point. Being a part of this video as a first year on campus feels like a little bit of campus history. It'll never be the lengths that we measure the Harvard bridge, but it'll be a great "something" that I'll never forget. To Stu, Sadoway, Chomsky, and everyone else in this video, I'll never forget my time at MIT. Despite it's lack of longevity, this video and the memories that go with it are something I hold close.
Really love how you guys showcased a lot of groups that you guys have on campus, it was really cool and shows how diverse, active, and fun the school is.
+Lucila Ruiz Dardes It's funny that for someone who has written so much about grammar, his own name is grammatically incorrect. It should be "Am not Chomsky" not "No am"
HAHAHAHAHAHA I can't believe they got Chomsky to do that, I can't imagine what the conversation was beforehand leading up to that. He's such a sport and he's a really amazing advocate for democracy and human rights. Great parody, better than the original in my opinion.
Chomsky is a really nice guy. I've emailed him numerous times out of the blue with questions on his opinions on certain things. He's answered every time.
+Mert Maximilian unfortunately in today's world we have engineers in teams, and managers managing those teams (we like to call them "suits"), those managers being our bosses. That's why the world is in crisis, and that's why kids from MIT would work under the order of kids from Harvard.
I envy so much the MIT graduates. They have the best campus, the best quality of studies regarding almost any scientific field, the best professors and despite the huge amounts of studying they have to do, they still have time for outdoor activities as seen on this "parody-video" or even time to create a parody-video like this one. I wish I was able to study there but I need brains that I don't have. Congratulations to anyone succeeding IN and OUT of there. And also nice remake of Gangnam Style!
Milan Korenica He is a cool guy from what I have heard. Before I was born (1991), he came to Western Washington University to lecture on linguistics. My grandpa was the head of the department and Chomsky came over to their house and just hung out for the day. Plus he gave several lectures when he was only originally scheduled to give one. Definitely wish I had been alive to meet him!
If you're filming Noam Chomsky as part of a six second cameo for your music video and he wants to have a sip of his tea before saying his one line - then it doesn't matter if it breaks the momentum of the song! Because it's Noam Chomsky and you damn well wait for him to finish his drink!
OMG, this is soooo hilarious. Absolutely brilliant! Way to go Naum! Good for you. I am watching this with tears of laughter .What's wrong with the dislikers? - get a life! Sooooo MIT. Just love this. Thanks so much for this hysterical and timely video! So way cool. Love it. Love ti. Thanks to METRO for the publicity. That's how I found about this. My new bookmark...
love the Chomsky cameo. We studied his theories and ideas in my linguistics classes and to find out he's still around (at age 83!) and seen in the flesh in this fab video makes this parody extra special. oh...and wow MIT rocks!!!
If I ever had the option to have anyone from MIT my employer/boss and were part of this. I would be the happiest person on the face of the planet. this was fantastic!!! :D
MIT is not what has made him famous. It's his extensive and brilliant work in sociolinguistics that has made him famous. I don't go to MIT. Intellectuals far beyond the student body at MIT know who he is.
This is fantastic! I really appreciate it since I have spent so much time on the MIT Ballroom Dance Team and working in MIT Athletics teaching Aqua Zumba.. Hellz yeah MIT Gangham Style!
Over 4 million people love Noam Chomsky and MIT. 1200 people are disgruntled students over at Harvard who wish they were smart enough to make geeky this cool. Much love to Chomsky, MIT et al from McGill!
Whoever got Chomsky to be in this video should themselves be on the List of the 100 most influential people in the world.
ahahahahahaha +1 my friend.
salam 2017 ke 2018
What about Professor LANDER? He is awesome!
Chomsky teaches at MIT so it was luck perhaps.
@Leonard Merante I'm sure the police cares :) I've also let Google know, but I'm sure they already do know everything anyway

Chomsky really should have said "Gangnam style" like everyone else. It would have been funnier.
He's also a great advocate for refugee and holding camps!
how did they ever get Chomsky to agree to this
+garbageboy Because Chomsky is a human being like any of us ;D
Chomsky is a really nice guy. I've emailed him numerous times out of the blue with questions on his opinions on certain things. He's answered every time.
Grothendick Yeah, same here.

Ladies and getleman, your future bosses
Those would be the kids from Harvard.
+Ha Kou MIT ranks above harvard.
Mert Maximilian So?
+Mert Maximilian unfortunately in today's world we have engineers in teams, and managers managing those teams (we like to call them "suits"), those managers being our bosses. That's why the world is in crisis, and that's why kids from MIT would work under the order of kids from Harvard.
+LePomologue you say that like its a bad thing....
That was probably the best fan video (of any song) I've ever seen.

What kind of balls of fucking unobtainium it takes to ask Chomsky to do something like this?
He's probably quite a cool guy
Milan Korenica He is a cool guy from what I have heard. Before I was born (1991), he came to Western Washington University to lecture on linguistics. MIT Balls.
Eric Lander, Don Sadoway and Naom Chomsky in one single video!!! this is the most awesome video ever.

Cal Tech has entered the chat
Can't wait to get rejected next week!
how is it going :D ??
@@sherifnegm9046 how is it going for you?
Chomsky can be my Oppan any time.
its oppa not oppan--oppan means oppa is
Eleven years later and this continues to be delightful.
The a capella version is amazing! They should make a video of their own.

What I wouldn't give to see the MIT a capella group from this video do a full version of this song. Phenomenal.
Here Comes Treble?
