@@ProducingInTheBox Well, that's a totally basic feature and you'll be hard-pressed to find a DAW which doesn't have something like this (okay, e.g. Mulab doesn't, but that's a rare exception - Cubase, Live, Bitwig, Samplitude, Tracktion, Reason, Pro Tools, DP, Logic, Reaper - they all have that). When you call a video "recording HACKS" I expect something a lot more substantial than you showing/knowing half a basic feature tbh.
@@jensleuner527 it is a basic feature for you, but to a lot of people that watched this video, it was brand new. You’re probably a bit more advanced for this specific video then!
Yes, there's a macro that's called "restart recodding" which does exactly that. By default there's no key assigned to it though, so you have to first do that yoruself (you can of course also add it to a macro-toolbar. so that you have a button for it available on the GUI).
Do you have to create the layers manually and interrupt the recording? Ideally, one sets a loop, and records non stop, and the layers are created automatically. Does it do this?

Can you auto sync multiple track together because I ha a hard time lining up vocals and guitar and bass all lined up together?
Is there an option for recording a track in Studio One like "Stop and forget" in Ardour/Mixbus32 or "Abort and restart" in Tracktion Waveform? Thanks!

Of course it does. (He just didn't know it, so he didn't put it in his video.)
"You can go back quite a ways." I don't know about that, but you CAN go back quite a way. 😉
You don't just record takes to layers?
On a side note why are some of my sound sets failing to download
Not sure. I haven’t had that issue. What’s your system?
