My fitbit charge 3 died as soon as the warranty expired. I know it was because I got water splashed on it while traveling so I can't complain much.

The battery on my Fitbit Charge 2 is dying at less than 3 years old. I'm not sure I want to invest in another Fitbit product.

@Daniel JK, my Fitbit Versa 2 is all dinged up after only 9 months. The Bluetooth works about 10% of the time. Bought an Apple watch

I returned my Fossil Sport a few weeks ago and Amazon actually went the refund route though I wanted just the guarantee activation. Glad they did so now, I'm getting this for just an extra 40€ :D Gonna be my first Fitbit too :D Really like the 6+ days battery coming from the Fossil Sport

don't get your hopes up with the battery tho. I have had three fitbit watches over the years, and they never lived up with their promoted battery life.
I like it (I have the Versa 2 Special Edition) but I wish it had more smart features and app connections to my Pixel 3XL like other smart watches do (like Android Wear and Apple Watch) - they can view photos from messages, initiate messages from the watch, type on the watch, etc. I really hope Fitbit makes improvements here

Hello i have some troubles with this watch, it wont go of the starter screen when ut says " to start download the fit bit app" i did that but it still wont get off that screen. Can you pls tell me what to do?

I own one I just bought recently. I see no one answered your question. You will lose the ability to see your skin temp data collected without fitbit premium. Basically, all the in depth data your tracker collects will no longer be available for you to see. Even though I did buy one and it comes with a free six month trial, I am upset about the premium membership. Come one! We already shelled out over $300, Fitbit!

Does the Sense or any of the new products have fall detection?
I probably won't pick up this or the Versa 3 simply because I switched from the Versa 2 to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 last winter. I wanted a watch with built in GPS because the phone connected GPS was spotty and inconsistent. Glad to see Fitbit launching some solid GPS enabled watches though. I'll likely switch back net year, either to the Sense or Sense 2 if Google doesn't delay the next generation. Samsung's HRM is lackluster and shockingly inaccurate considering the number of photodiodes in their sensor. I can squeeze 3 days of juice out of my GWA2 but I'm really missing the week long battery Fitbit offers. Fast charging would be another reason to come back.
FITBIT staff, do you plan to implement any offline music options on your devices like those previously marketed, or do you plan to deprive them of all "smart" features and focus solely on your Pixel watch?

It is similar to Google Pay but not nearly as supported by banks.

It's still Fitbit Pay. They can't do Google Pay since that would only work on Android phones. Fitbit Pay would work for both iPhones and Android phones

You really mean that you people will pay close to $250 to $300 for a watch plus a monthly fee for the programs on top of that!?? You all are crazy or rich people! I have the Fitbit Zip. The one they first came out with. $60. Have had it for 6 years now. Love it. Just put a new battery in it about every 2 to 3 months. Don’t have to take a watch off and on to do dishes or cleaning. No charging. Of course they don’t make it anymore and that forces you people to but the expensive ones.

The Apple Watch is far superior. We had these features YEARS ago. And if i want to track my stress I can just download apps on my Apple Watch. If I want to track skin temperature I can just download an app on my Apple Watch.

Also their skin temperature feature is pure marketing. The reason why we don’t measure temperature from our arms is because that only tells us room temperature. So if I were to go outside in 80 degree weather my skin would reflect that temperature. So if you get it, disable those notifications. It’s not very pleasant being notified about the temperature of the room or environment you are in. If you do then weather app is cool too

Seriously, my question is that can I 100% utilize those sensors WITHOUT your premium paid service? I have a Versa 2 but I can't utilize EOV which is included in device price but not working until I pay the Premium service.
EOV isn't locked behind premium. I'm looking at my oxygen variation graph rn and I have never paid for premium. It's under the sleep section if you scroll down. The graph even appears on sleep records from before they enabled the feature.

@@PotatoCat mne had nothing to do with water, first one, left button stopped working, second one, battery stopped charging after an update, not sure if connected but FitBit support was not helpful.
Mileage definitely varies. I have a Charge 2, Charge 3, Versa and Versa 2 in my family. The Charge 3 and Versa 2 were the only ones to have issues, the latter due to beta firmware which was fixed with the 4.2 OS.
As long as you're in warranty they basically send new units to you with very few questions asked. IDK about this generation of products, but as recently as the Versa 2 they don't ask you to send the defective units back. I warrantied my Versa 2 because it kept rebooting on its own (beta firmware) and they sent me a new one immediately for free. I gave that to my SIL and decided keep the defective one in hopes that a firmware update with a new factory image would fix the issue. It did and now I have two fully functional watches for the price of one.
How about upgrading the clunky fitbit App experience?

@@occo5877 major issue lies with connectivity. Syncing watch with phone is a hit or miss, updating software is a different story. May be that's just me but the issues are real across the devices.

Before my Fitbit Ionic glitched out, it worked quite well with my iPhone. I wasn't too surprised the Ionic messed up after some time since it was Fitbit's first smartwatch. The Fitbit Sense looks like a perfect successor to the Ionic 🙂
I have been trying to find out how it works with Samsung. They jacked the Ionic/Galaxy10 compatibility and have been waiting to see. Seems like a lot of useless marketing for NOT explaining the full features of the watch, especially with it being a SMART watch and not just a fitness watch.

I love this, will definitely get ASAP. A huge step up from my Fitbit Versa 2, because the Versa 2 is so slow and buggy. Plus, Alexa is trash compared to the Google Assistant, so that is better.
haha I have had fitbit versa 1, was wondering the speeds.. if your experience tells that Versa 2 is slow.. welp. 3 and sense will be slow as well. Cause, I had been reading that, for smartwatches RAM is often the bottleneck and Fitbit never releases those specs. Donno why.

My wife and I have been Fitbit customers for over 5 years and have been very happy with the product. However, I am so saddened on what is happening now. Neither of our Fitbit watches are syncing to our mobile devices. I am tired of uninstalling and reinstalling for nothing. I really hope Fitbit will take the steps to fix it as soon as possible. They will be losing many old and new customers. 😩

I would just like notifications from my perfectly fine Pocophone F1 to work with a Fitbit smartwatch. Fitbit has fobbed off Pocophone F1 users since the Versa was first released with empty promises like "the problem being worked on", "our engineers are focused on finding a solution", "and by the way, your Pocophone F1 isn't on our list of phones guaranteed to work". It isn't on that list, but nor was the Moto G5 Plus I had before it, and that worked fine. How are we supposed to tell before we commit to a purchase? It's Android. It should work on all Android versions past a specified version number, and that should be part of the software's design criteria.
Ok, I literally can’t decide between sense, or versa. They have all the features I want. Google assistant, Alexa, all these cool gimmicks. I like the sense, because of how it well... senses me. That’s cool. I was going for the sense because the versa has a lot of features I wouldn’t use. But with the sense, I’d use everything. But the price tag difference. That’s what got me. So to YOU. Random commenters. I ask you to help me.

I've had several Fitbit products. I recently got an Apple Watch 3 because the price was too good to pass up. The new Apple Watch will be $70 more than the Sense. I'll wait and get that.

I feel the same way. Their watches look like s__t. Toys, as a matter of fact. I have been in touch with Apple who put me onto their community where I expressed my thoughts on them having an all in one health/fitness app, and a battery that last more than one or two days. If they have addressed those issues, I will swing over. Huawei and Samsung, among a few have designed beautiful classic, quality smart/fitness watches, but their health apps suck. If they fix them up, that will also sway me away from Fitbit, the tinker toy maker.
