One of my favorite books. We bought 50 of them many years ago where we worshiped after singing Victory In Jesus at another church. Our Baptist hymnal didn't have that song at the time(it does now). Most got lost over the years so at the church we attend now, I asked one of our pianist about it and she gave me a copy. It's on my piano and will stay there forever. Thank you for playing some of these wonderfully styled hymns. I will always love your playing.
I found in my mother's memoirs that my Grandpa Oscar liked to sing "O How I Want to See Him" as he went about his day. Well, Grandpa went to see Him in 1963 and I, now older than he ever got, am blessed by his song. I have made a playlist of these episodes and bought a Church Hymnal to follow along: it does my soul good in times like these. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
All of it was just beautiful. I was truly touched by the way you play Jesus Hold My Hand. That was my Dad’s favorite song when I was taking piano lessons. I could play it for him back then but it was nowhere near the quality of what you have to offer! I miss my Dad. Thank you for playing and letting me relive a precious memory I had with him. God Bless.
I ordered the Church Hymnal (Red-back Hymnal) so I could sing along as you play. Some of the songs I have never heard before. Thanks for sharing the amazing talent God has blessed you with!
I don't know the words to the hymns, but just the title and amazingly words come to my mind as you play. For I believe the Holy Spirit fills in the words we need to hear at just the right time. And so we shouldn't be hesitant in sharing our faith, because He will give us the right words at just the right time. God bless you.
It’s the funniest thing, I don’t recognize hardly any titles but I recognize almost all the songs. I always look forward to your playing. Makes my week, more encouraging
Thank u so much for the red hymnal videos. Such a happy blessing! Listening to them over an over. How I love those camp meeting style songs! Thank u again!
You're such a blessing, Natalie, especially with all the turmoil in our beloved nation. I truly can't 'get enough' of your talent, only wish CD's were available so I could take your music with me while traveling. God bless you!
@@NatalieRaynesMusic Thanks for the info......I purchased a CD, anxiously waiting for its arrival. Your talent is such a blessing and I thank you for sharing it.

I fell asleep last night listening to episode 29, and now listening to this great praise music to start day ahead. It's great to hear at any moment of the day!!! Thanks again, Ms Natalie and Josh, too!! God bless us now and in the Sweet Forever we're heading to Each Step we Take.
Absolutely love this series...I am a church pianist and this is by far my most favorite hymnal to play out of!I always use it for prelude music before service!
I love this series! Keep going through the book please! Thank you so so much for putting so much work into videos and courses for us. Just listening to you helps me so much to play the songs more comfortably and confidently Continue to let the Lord work through you and your MUSIC !! ❤️💖💘💕💞❤️💞💕 ♥️
Thanks Natalie for volume 3! I never tire of your playing and the way you treat each song/hymn. I was slightly amused to hear the strains of our National Anthem (no. 51) and then to see the title is "America"!!
Sweet sister.... I saw you cheated on Amazing Grace....lol then you went to the written key it was great I was getting excited because I thought you might get to my all time favorite song. Page 66 Just One Way to The Gate.... You are a blessing.... Thank you And brother Josh for these videos.
9:19 I'm trying to compile a playlist of people actually singing all of the songs in the Church Hymnal. "Send Me" is the one I'm struggling to find someone actually singing the lyrics on UA-cam. Apparently, Otis Redding and others covered a song called "You Send Me", so that doesn't help.
Id like to see the camera position on the right side of the piano to see the top finger during the next church hymnal volume. I am curious if you play the melody with the leading top finger. Thats how I was told to play. Id like to see the top finger to maybe help pick out the key. I will check the other hymnal volume recordings to see if you choose that angle. Thanks for the songs they are a great inspiration.
I had never heard of it before the great Natalie either; but WOW Natalie what a blessing you are and what a talent you have! I listen to you every day. The only thing Natalie cannot do? ... Is play a sad song😁
Thought I had a pretty good knowledge of hymns and gospel songs ... boy, was I ever wrong. Never heard any of these, except "America" ... but love to hear the way you play.

Beautiful Natalie!
Hi Natalie, Thank you for playing for us. Your music brings peace to my soul.
Great hymn playing. We need the Lord’s power and presence to abide with us. These hymns help immensely to do just that!
You play so much like me except much better! I've been playing for churches since I was 11 years old. I'm pushing 80.
A Beautiful Lady playing Beautiful Music. 👍
This has to be my favorite series
Love the tempo in all of your songs!!!!

"I'd Like to Talk It Over with Him" is probably one of my most favorite songs out of the church hymnal.

I am really enjoying these! The Church Hymnal was used in the church my parents got saved in when I was a child ❤️
" I'd like to kneel down and talk it all over with him."🎶🎶❤

It's like every Sunday morning at my in-laws' church.

" When We Sing Around The Throne."
Please give me a copy of your hymnal
Do not care for the Red Hymnal. Do not know any of the music. Here in West Michigan we don’t here that music.
Jack Norman
I too am not familiar with the Red back but I google the songs and receive the blessings from the lyrics and melody of her playing.
