I'm passing everything on the highway here in ontario Canada with great confidence of these tire with my Highlander. Great tire and price was good also
Good stuff. Did about a weeks' worth of tire research to decide what to put on an electric CUV, these are what were chosen, with the Weatheractives coming in second in a virtual tie. Had already decided on these but this video bolstered the choice.
I bought these for my 2020 Honda Pilot yesterday and love them. They are quiet and absorbs the bumps very well. The salesman at Discount Tire brought out the Pirelli's and the Michelin's. The Pirelli's are more rounded at the edges and the Michelin Defender LTX had more of a drop off at the edges. The Pirelli's will do better than the Michelin's will in cornering. Both are quiet and absorb bumps etc very well. Pirelli's were about 38 dollars cheaper than the Michelin's were. Pirelli also has a 70 dollars prepaid Visa offer if you purchase them. The size I got were 245/50/18. I had 2 Primewell Valera on my suv because I had a blowout of one if the Bridgestones and a nail in the sidewall. Those Primewell's were noisy! Couldn't stand it anymore and bought the Pirelli's. It was a night and day difference in ride quality and noise. Check Discount Tire, they will let you try them out for 30 days and if you don't like them, swap them out for another brand. You won't be disappointed with the Pirelli's or the Michelin's.
Don't know what you got but a guy at a performance tuning shop, said he put Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons on his wife's X5 and both of them are completely happy with those.
Just bought a set of 4. So far so good. I think the scorpion 2s were slightly more aesthetically pleasing, but the performance has been very good and they’re still very attractive.
@@llanierai I just replaced the fuel injectors, spark plugs, EGR valve, and air filter. I also just changed the oil and flushed the transmission. So it’s hard to say how much my fuel economy increased because of the tires or because of the other maintenance. But I will say that they seem to be providing good fuel efficiency to this point.
@@Matthew.Wade27 Thank you for your reply. Good to know. Its hard to find any reviews as this tire as it is so new. Even Consumer Report has nothing on it. I'm going to get them, hopefully next week. I'll let you know how they do on an F150.
I got mine a couple weeks ago, I like them better than the Scorpion Verde runflats that came as OE. Was going to go with Verde ALL SEASON PLUS II but was told this is the latest hotness so I hope it will turn out to be better
@@llanierai I've had 3 sets of Pirelli tires on a few different vehicles over the last 10 years. All of them have been great. I'm buying these today for my 2020 RAM 1500 Limited. Tire Discounters has them in stock at the warehouse in Cincinnati. The original OEM tires on my RAM are terrible in wet weather. It slides and spins constantly and they need to go. It's sad that I have to do this on a truck that only has 13,500 miles.
@@snzkickin Sure is bad when you have to replace new tires Chris. Let us know how they do. I can't recall that I've ever run Pirelli's before so this will hopefully be a good experience. Got them at Sams for a really good price. They run out nice on the interstate and handle curves and turns really well too. Replaced Michelin's and seem to actually handle better. So far so good!
@@snzkickin I switched out my stock tires on my tundra sport for the scorpion at+ at about 5k. Had the same issue with slippage and winter was just straight dangerous with the stock
@@snzkickin you are probably having the same issue with your truck that I am with mine. I have a 19 Sierra Denali with the 22” rims and I’m having a hard time finding better tires for it. Aside from the Michelin Defenders, these might be the other good option. I’ve got Bridgestone A/S 2’s on there now and they are at less than 3/32” all the way around and everything I’ve read said the current tires I have are terrible in the snow.
what do you think, should I put them on for the winter and for year-round riding? Is it still better to buy winter tires for my Audi Q7? (I live in Sweden)
You might be able to get away with Michelin Crossclimate2's if you don't want to switch over to dedicated winters. But your in Sweden so you might need even more traction with winter tires.
I am seriously considering this new tire for my MDX AWD, replacing Micheline Defender LTX's. What should I expect? Same or better performance on every aspect of driving? I have at least 15K life left in them, but can't wait to get new tires. Any tire wizards out there who can suggest me whether to wait or pull the trigger on this new Pirelli AS+3?
The Verde 2's are quieter. The tread pattern is much better for highway driving. The 3's have a harder compound so they are going to be slightly louder on the road and a tad firmer ride
I had my old Michelin primacy mxm4 replaced with the pirelli scorpion verde and I could instantly tell the difference. The steering is lot lighter and I can feel the road. It’s lot more fun to drive with these on and it’s like I can feel my Acura RDX is lighter too.
The Pirelli's are more rounded at the edges, which equates to better handling. Both tires are quiet and absorb bumps very well. I bought the Pirelli's over the fact that they will handle better. I am happy with my Pirelli's.

Just installed these boys, my Tahoe could not be happier 😂

About to do the exact same. Glad to hear
