you film on the right, then you film on the left.... you cut both in half et voilá! the fact that the half of the image is cut allows for a computer with the previous footage to be rolling, allowing the perfect interaction. the movie is pretty well done!
The sisterly antagonism between these two is done very well! I love how Shae notices that her loving sister only arrives with two drinks! That little detail really set the stage for the rest of the interactions! Wow this is really a fun video!

these are relatively easy to setup from a technical pov, you have the camera on a tripod you pre-record the space with the lighting how you want it for the duration you want it with an empty scene, then you record each part separately and overlay them and then blend/key frame the transitions.
The most clever thing here is the fact that at times the conversation of the twins overlaps and the fact that you can actually see both of them reflected in the mirror at all times.
I was actually really impressed by this, not only with the calming effect but the acting, the accent and how you played off yourself. You’re extraordinary! Not to mention how unbelievably adorable you are! I’m so in love with both of you now!

I've seen some that kind of interact slightly, but to have full conversations timed so perfectly for 20 minutes straight. To edit it so seamlessly and to have shot it in front of a mirror. *Everyone* should see this video.
