He's a quality dirty cop. He's not sinister. He has that cheeky dirty cop grin. If only all dirty cops are as likeable as Dowd.

I just got done watching that show “The Deuce” on HBO about Times Square in the 70’s and 80’s. I feel like Mike is a character straight outta that show lol. I never realized either how much mafia influence they had on pornography and the evolution of sex in America.

Dowd acts like he is still using coke. He is jumpy, hyper, fast talking and has ants in his pants. Nothing would surprise me about Dowd. Don' t forget that he was hooked up with the Dominican coke mob in East NY & that make him a heavy in anyone's world. Either way, it's a great interview and one for the record books. TY Toe.

The Irish Italian thing made me laugh because it was so true, and was Rosedale to a T before it changed.
Then, to top all this off, one of Dowds co defendents was my great friends older brother.

Hello Mr. Ruggiano do you remember a guy he passed away I don’t remember when they called him big Bob Pellegrino someone said he used to be John Gotti’s driver at one time. Do you remember skinny Dom having a driver in a silver town car picking him up and bringing him to the café liberty I used to see it because I was picking up his garbage on Lafayette Street.
He was a crooked cop my dad was a huge heroin dealer for almost 3 decades so who was worse...I'd take the dirty cop ...my father also went to prison at 49 for 20 years he is home an a old man now
Mike is a con man to the core. Not hating on him just saying he's a real character.
So much better to commit crime behind a badge
