Hi I'm an American living in Taiwan and I got into the fish hobby 3 years ago
but despite doing everything I was recommended for my fish tanks I cannot keep my fish alive
I noticed that when I put my hands into the water to adjust plants it's acidic
I live in Taichung and I've been trying to have betas. I tried guppies once none of them survived
Had about 60 bettas and I think only five live 2 years and they were all females
This tanks are established cycled properly. I do the water changes regularly and I found that if I put crushed coral into the filters it actually helps the water not to be so acidic
Can you recommend a fish that can go into a 5 to 6 gallon tank that won't die?
A filter and I have the proper food it's even really good food. I have only Anubis does well.
I do use liquid fertilizer but not much and I just want to know how do you guys keep the water from having problems.
Do I need a special dechlorinator to regulate the water?
I have three tanks a 3 gallon tank of 5 gallon tank and a 7 gallon tank.
And the pH fluctuates. Sometimes the water feels fine and other times it doesn't but recently it's been very acidic
we have a water tower in the building I live in so I don't know if I can contributes to the problem

用陶瓷環固定水草…為何會爛根?
可能最大原因是水質，再來是草種，如果是氣根類的這就容易爛根
