Mohit Ji. Please watch this video again and listen slowly. There are many way to classify RDA. the best and accurate method is what i have followed after refering many books. See the meaning of both enteral and Paraenteral. Enteral means which goes via intestine and paraenteral = Para(Other than) + Enteral= other than intestine. So sublingual and buccal drugs absorbed via blood capillry not by intestine. Confusion occures because people think its taken from oral route or by mouth. Although few amount of drugs get ingested via this. Ager aap kuch muh me rakhenge to thoda sa to pet me jaayega but max amount to blood capillary se absorb ho jaata hai. Shayad aap ab samjh pye hon.

MBBS Guru We usually divide routes of drug administration that produce systemic effect in Enteral or Parenteral. From Greek Enteros = Intestine and Para = Beside. Thus either it passes through the intestinal tract or it avoids it. Although in many books sublingual is given under enteral just because they are taken by oral route but in many good book it is clearly explained that it does not go to intestine (It goes only if we engulf it) sonits para+enteral. Rectal route also by pass most pirtion of intestine and absorb at local site. This point is b confusing for many students.
