First round baler I had years ago was a Gehl 1500. Fairly similar. Only issue I ever had with the big belt, I had to put a new splice on it once. Otherwise, like Ed said, keep an eye on the bearings. It should do what you need it to do.
Hey Jordan That looks like an amazing peice to fall into place. I have taken a step back and reworking my books. So haven't been watching yt as much. Take care and can't wait to see you make some bales and get some steers. 😅
Thumbnail gave it away Jordan. Owners manuals should be available for purchase online, IF you don't have one BUT you should. They will offer some help in operation, maintenance and repair. Too bad interest rates are sooo high, you're ready for a machinery shed/shop.
I'll deffinitelly be on the lookout for a manual. Your right on the interest rates. Had plans to refinance the mortgage but looks like we will be waiting to do that. Hoping to get the building projects covered by winter?
Baler look pretty good. I don't think much of netwrap, so you're good there!! Advice, run it before you have to use it, check the bearings for heat. Change the hot ones before baling.
Good to see things moving ahead for you, I know it been a long journey. Do the things Ed was telling you about below and shoot us some more videos so we can keep up with you. Take care and have a blessed week my friend.
Well done Jordan ! You just keep getting closer to your dream ! I hope the best for you and yours! May THE LORD continue blessing you !
Thanks he sure has connected me to the right people who know a thing or 2.

I bet I wasn't to far from your place, between gilmanton and lookout.

When we get nice weather that's the plan. I want to listen as well. For all I know it could be froze up.
Nice addition to the farm. Hopefully you get many years out of it.

Will do. God has blessed us with rain and it's making things saturated now.
Nice score! I'd like to find something like that.
I'm just hoping she's a good one.
Sure wish Gehl was still around, they made some nice equipment.
Hey Jordan.
Gehl makes good bales
There's a few videos of them on UA-cam. Seems like a simple baler, just never know with auction buys.
