It sucks knowing that the old Baker/Deathwish crews are older and passed their prime. Baker 3 up unto the Deathwish video were the golden years of skateboarding. I wish it could have lasted forever. It's so cool to see the footage at Donnie's old house. Looking back it's crazy to think about how many tricks went down. Super cool spot to see in videos too. Never got a chance to skate it but I remember the first time i went, there was a demo in the backyard before the Baker 3 premiere. Everyone was ripping and tricks were going down left and right. Got me so fired up on skateboarding. Blessed to be apart of the RX family.
I had a thought... I bet in the future pro skateboarders will have "skateboard techs" similar to how guitar players have guitar techs. Because you have guys that are better at understanding the physics of a skateboard and can build the optimum board for the desired trick but cannot physically execute the trick themselves. Then you have the opposite,guys who spend all their time and focus in the field skating and don't have time/can;t be bothered with being in the workshop. If you could team up the right pair it would have to improve the skating
Idk if im really high or this is a smart idea but i personally would like to see the shot log for the tape thats playing. Idk I think it would be cool to see your notes for these tapes. Anyways thanks for putting these up guys.
