Believe it or not people, it's really pretty hard to get a good sound on a live stage. You can see him adjusting his ear piece at the beginning of the song...I blame this more on his sound guys (or the shows) than him.
Well, let me tell you, he singing a bit flat could be because of loud In ear volume, which he can adjust himself right on his belt pack. But this performance contains too many vocally technical errors to blame the sound guy. If you're an artist with a top #50 single on the billboard hot 100 and a #1 on country airplay, I'd say you could demand some vocal qualities on a live performance. It'd be different if he was an amateur, playing in a random pub, but this is not the case. I like the song though.
His monitor is either way too loud or way too low. You can tell he’s trying to real time adjust as he goes. This has happened to me several times. Feel bad for the dude.
Am I the only one that things his voice sounds horrible here? Monitors might be down too low or something cause he keeps messing with his wireless pack... This is awful though!
not sure what Joe was doing on this show but...
YEAH YEAH
I like Country music.
One of my favorites singer.
Love this song
it is hard to do live lots of things can go wrong

@@carl-adamlundberg1789 As a monitor engineer, I would like many artists to have that awareness that you have. I totally agree with you.
Bullshit hahaha

Hi Queen Latifah!!!
yeah' but h's so fine ♥
Too much camera flipping ! Why? Why?
Joe Nichols is "Yeah" "Yeah" "Yeaaaaaaah".....
Great singing. I disagree with the other comments. He sounded very good. Just love this song.
You're wrong, he sounds terrible, he can't even hit the notes in his own song
Joe Nicholas is definitely not sober in this performance.
Haters gunna hate
..☺️
For what it's worth it looks like he was having issues with his ear piece, that could make it really difficult to sing on key.
His mic was too low
Was he high
What's with the treble lol.
He could’ve been not feeling well or his sound guys may have not done their job correctly that day
I think queen laqueefa wasnt used to having any talent on thw show, which is why the sound quality was off
This is a good song but this sounded awful.
