Given all the ailments he seems to have, he's probably dead

It caught me off guard. I’m dead… probably from the heart failure though. 💀😂
Lol
Hope Colin's OK... PS never forget to ellicit maneuvres to bring out the murmurs e.g. inspiration for right sided ones

How can you palpate pulse with a Thumb? We are taught not to use thumb to palpate a Pulse, as it has it's own pulse which interrupts in your pulse measurements. This is strange.
That's the way to palpate carotid artery I'm sure you were taught that in ur med school.
Satyam Singh nope. It’s with the three or two fingers but not the thumb.
should not he apply pressure on the right upper quadrant to check JVP ?
Yez
Please make more OSCE videos! :)
Yes make mooer of the same thing 😢
I have it too😢
Very helpful. Thank you.
Great video , most videos are not very detailed like him
Where’s Collin now
I need to do this and I need the pump
Nice video thank you, but you should mention that with older people you should auscultate the carotids first to rule out carotid bruit
So true! You don't palpate a carotid artery if you didn't r/o a bruit first!
Nice
Yes!
Good video except for palpating the carotid before auscultating. That's a sure way to fail an OSCE.
Why???
@@OctoberChu You auscultate first before palpation - to check if there are any murmurs (Usually caused by atherosclerotic plaque) If you palpate first and patient has astherosclerosis, you could dislodge it and cause more problems.
And was with the thumb, that’s also bad.
Absolutely.
They gotta get someone with actually symptoms on here
He didn't apologize for his sandwich breath
