Wait is that actually possible if I do the right training and sleep well and nutrients every day ? Just got a gym membership 13 years old and can tip the bottom of rim. My standing vert is 72cm and my 2 step is 76. But some kids in my school got 100. I’m looking to increase. Any feedback ?
@@kingodande5297best training tip I just used to train standing train running too and jump everyday and the way I run is run faster stop faster jump up with power not speed and swing arms fast not with power
@@kingodande5297 genetics play a big part in it but it is possible. id say get a trainer or vert ocach thats what im doing. i ddi stufff at home but it wasnt effective so a vert oach i think is good.
100% I can help. I have many programs that could work for you, it just depends on what you've been doing for the past year (your training or lack thereof), any injuries, and what your body needs most. We should chat about it. Email me at nathanaelmortoncoaching@gmail.com or send me a message on Instagram. Here's my training programs if you'd like to take a look: nathanaelmorton.com/pages/10-month-access-to-1-program-of-choice
Power is lighter and moved faster - you’ll normally use weight between 40-80% of your 1 rep max. Power clean, hang clean, kettlebell swings, dumbbell box jumps, etc. You can even do squats and deadlifts focused on power. Just means the weight is a bit lighter and moved faster. Strength is heavier and moved slower (since it’s heavier it will automatically be harder to move it faster). Normally between 60-90% of 1 rep max. Normally 2-5 reps but can even go up to 10 reps.
age: just turned 15 height: 6FEET with shoes and vertical:25 inches. I WILL UPDATE IN 6MONTHS IF I REMEMBER I'll eat correctly and sleep 9+ hrs to maximize my growth!
Yoooo, I followed your workout for those three brothers, I did that friday or thursday last week, gave my body rest over the weekend, did a jump day yesterday, and I gained a full 2 inches. What you preach is what people need. New stimulus, and a more explosive lift off. Cant wait to dig into your bodyweight program. Cheers!
Yall, I dont know where it went, but seriously. You'll notice when this needs to happen. Do a plyo session. If everything is too easy, the next sessiom you do, increase the height of what you're trying to do. In order to beat a plateau, you need new stimuli, being an increase in difficulty. If your "max" is a 36-inch box jump, go for 38". It's all about tweaking the difficulty. Secondly, even if you think you're taking off fast, do it faster. Use your arms (if you're trying to do a two foot jump) to speedily accelerate the action. During the approach and the jump, think fast, and the moment your feet hit the ground, explode off the ground.

What’s the difference between a power movement and a strength movement?
Power is lighter and moved faster - you’ll normally use weight between 40-80% of your 1 rep max. Power clean, hang clean, kettlebell swings, dumbbell box jumps, etc. You can even do squats and deadlifts focused on power. Just means the weight is a bit lighter and moved faster.
