I heard that Wyatt Russell received some death threats on social media. Not sure about that. He said in a recent interview that he is temporary not being active on social media.
I loved John Walker even more in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier! He's my favorite character throughout the series and Wyatt Russell is killing it in the role! And making his own shield is awesome! Thank you for this wonderful theme/music.
I've never liked him in comics, but Wyatt Russell portrayal made me love him. He's not a villain, he's not a bad guy, he's a good man who wants to do the right thing but sometimes there's nothing one could do.
I don't blame him at all for killing any of that group. If they're willing to fight and kill in the name of what they believe in.... Then they should be ready to die. All actions have consequences, no matter how righteous they think they are. Battlestar was like his brother, he just reacted like any person would having a loved one killed right in front of them. I bet if it wasn't caught on video, the American government would have praised him. But like always, IMAGE matters more than what's right or just.
@@ultra-nationalistodst8085 I have a theory that Walker is going to be on top of Sam and ready to kill him with the shield but then tops and hesitates and the women who told Walker is there and tell Walker what are you waiting, for finish him but then Walker is like no and teams up with Sam

Well to me he is the most realistic captain america. Steve was a perfect guy, a normal person could never relate to him. In hindsight people only hate John cause that's how a real person act and behave, they don't want those flaws.
How good was John's writing? That was rhetorical, the answer is fucking beautifully. The use of Civil War's theme was also beautiful for showing the war he fights with himself
John is the representation of the average human being trying to fill the shoes of who were supposed to be. God sent Jesus to show us how we should be as people... Captain America is what every American is supposed to be and John Walker is us trying to be him but falling short of the glory at times. Great character not the best simply because sam overshadows him because that was intended. His symbolism is great. His character written perfectly. But, he seriously needs therapy. It's obvious he can barely handle a fight mentally. Thus, he should not be on the field at all.
