A very nice video...that too after a good break.
The Red & White ciggarette ad is during the 90s when Akshay was not a big star and I think that although he had done movies he was just a couple of HIT movies old and did not enjoy a cult status as he is having now.
You have rightly mentioned that the media is harsh....and things done in the past come back again to haunt the people in the acting profession where the actors are liabke to public scrutiny.
The surrogate ad done by Akshay & then seeking public apology is proof that an actor is concerned of the public sentiment and its negative effect.
Enjoyed the old advertisement...simple and to the point.

Well said Rahoul Bhai. I have always believed Akshay is the biggest opportunist and hypocrite in Bollywood. But certainly everyone knows in this media rich world that all Flavored Elaichi Ads are surrogate ads as they conceal similar packaged products containing tobacco as they cannot promote directly.
