I'm not sure about this, sadly. I love Dreamtale, and I love Nitte Valo, but I'm just not sure the combination works right, unfortunately. These samples are just missing that extra spark previous vocalists had.
I enterly agree, on what i heard it does not work, what seems strange is that nitte seems so powerless on thoses extracts.... damn she was the hellfire in battle beast and in burningpoint, here she's just a classical vocalist, songs seems boring here

If they want to succeed with Nitte they need to let her have her head so she can belt out the power she has shown in other bands - I like the purity of her voice in this style of signing - mode classical - but I want to see her do something with a Battle Beast vibe. Hoping their new songs accomadate her power we all know she has. The trick is doing that and retaining the vibe of their style. Well that's if for me from the peanut gallery.

I love Dreamtale but like many others here i can´t help feeling a little disappointed…. Of course no one can replace Erkki so i was expecting to be disappointed anyway. Don´t get me wrong, she is a great singer but her vocals seems too far off for Dreamtales previous style. The old songs suddenly sounds very generic like with most other female fronted metal bands. Whatever happens i wish the very best for the band and i´m still gonna enjoy the old material :)

As the training at the beginning it is not bad, but as the real cd debut she must add more energy and heart feeling and the best - combined with a top male singer!

Maybe there will be new music from them that sound as great as the old ones.But leave everything untill now for a male vocalist,IMHO.

Don't get me wrong but change a band where the songs were created to be singed by a man sounds pretty weird. I love nightwish/epica and other girl vocals bands but dreamtale... it's like replacing kotipelto for simone simons. Going to miss Erkki, and Rami is still my favorite from the first album.

it's always going to be hard to accept a change at first. This demo material isn't convincing to me, but hopefully you prove yourselves once you start giving us new material written for her! Nothing will ever beat the original recordings of any song off Beyond Reality.
I didn't knew Nitte has this vocal range (-> Lady of a thousand lakes)! I'm impressed!!! In my personal opinion, Erkkis Voice didn't fit in every Dreamtale song, maybe sometimes it was due to bad mixing, but maybe it's just because of his unique voice, I don't know. Unfortunately I've never seen Dreamtale live on stage, and I only know their studio versions of the songs.

Not many bands make such drastical changes. Knowing it's a demo there are some parts that may be improved but it seems interesting to see how dreamtale will evolve.
Excellent addition - Nitte Valo was tremendous with Battle Beast - a true powerhouse. Once we know she's back to full power, Dreamtale is going to be a force of Nature!
I've been a fan for years, so don't get me wrong... but this is just terrible. I don't get why bands do things like this. In a case like this, the one and only option for a band should be... quitting. Or starting a new band whatsoever. Otherwise you are risking that the good old material gets soiled. Like here, unfortunately... In other words: I will never accept Dreamtale with a female vocalist or some other radical change of style. And this one isn't even fitting at all. Bye :-(
This sounds like some poor garage Dreamtale cover band... I've been a huge fan of the band since the first minute-and-a-half samples of songs from the debut, I've witnessed all the band's ups and downs, but this is a joke... Flat, powerless and boring as hell! Went to yt to see if there's something new with the band and now I regret my curiosity...
I love Dreamtale but this is like a version of Dreamtale without energy and power. Not bad but I don’t feel the spark of Dreamtale. :(
