Hi Rahul, when I create a simulink model and go to the save menu to save as a simulation app, I do not see the export to simulation app menu item. Am I missing something? Also I tried using the command line command (name of my model is "nonlinear_load_sim.slx"): simulink.compiler.genapp('nonlinear_load_sim', 'AppName', 'nonlinear_load_sim_app'); but I get an error as follows: Dot indexing into the result of a function call requires parentheses after the function name. The supported syntax is 'simulink().compiler'. And when I try simulink().compiler.genapp('nonlinear_load_sim', 'AppName', 'nonlinear_load_sim_app'); it just opens up the simulink window. What am I missing? I am running Matlab/Simulink R2023b. Kindly advice
@@HansScharlerinteresting. But once again I am confused. I have full installation of 2013b Matlab/Simulink and associated toolboxes. So I should have the Simulink compiler should I not? Or else how am I able to build and run simulations? Yesterday, based on Rahul’s video, I installed the matlab runtime, and all it did was install Matlab all over again. So I uninstalled matlab run time and reverted back to my original matlab installation. Does the Simulink compiler you are referring to come with the Matlab license? Or do I have to buy another license?
