It's amazing how the tiniest mistake can cause the most life changing problems I broke my ankle too when I was young it was from mowing the lawn with a push mower it didn't heal right the first time so a plate and six screws permanently implanted after three rounds of reconstruction over a year and that's just from getting my foot twisted around 360° not even cut off and reattached.
