Thank you so much for this reaction! I love NCT 127 so much! I'd love to recommend NCT leader Taeyong's "Shalala" MV and dance practice (or Studio Choom). He's the one with the pink hair here and is such a creative songwriter (writes and composes all his solo songs) and unique dancer. Both sonically and visually, "Shalala" is such a fun experience! As a music producer and video editor respectively, I think you'll both find it very interesting.
Dance practice videos were indeed first released by Shinee (and Super Junior did early ones as well). They would often release them as a gift to fans. And they were very rough. Lots were also leaked in the early days. The practice recordings were done both for the group to review themselves and also they had to make a video (often with name tags on) to send to the television studios so they could plan for the music show stages and camera movements. The videos are still used for these purposes but now also have the additional purpose of promoting and showing the group's dance skill. This is a challenging and very unusual choreo that has been covered by many. Yup, iconic. (And still one of the best rap verses Mark ever wrote, which is probably why they featured it as part of their Killing Voice medley)
I remember really hating this song when it was first released hahaha it felt like it didn't have any kpop vibes... but the irony is that year after year this song is always on my playlist and yeah the dance practice is so crazy that I even thought there wouldn't be another kpop idol who would cover it the dance. Sometimes you get fixed dance practices and moving cam dance practices, this one was a moving one but most dance practices tend to be filmed with a fixed camera nowadays but some artists do both for the same song
@@commentwar7949 well, it's not like T is the only vocalist in that group. There are others too who have very very nice vocals. It'll be great. Don't worry. I just hope they release new songs asap. I just can't listen to older songs now... I just can't. I think it's my time to listen to the NCT dream & wayv. Never tried those groups.
@@commentwar7949not really… for all their live stages w/o him doyoung usually sings all the high notes and they’re just as good, if not slightly better but maybe that’s because I prefer his voice. They seem to be doing just fine.
