Thanks Andy. I am planning on making my first bowls. Some small pinch spice bowls ( about 1 1/4" Dia.). and this video was very helpful. Doug in Alaska
A very nice video Andy. I wish I could have seen a well thought out concise how to like this when I first started turning!! You cover all the steps very well. I think a beginner following this video could do very well making their first bowl. Cheers, Rick

Great little bowl ,and nice to see a proper workshop, not something that is for the camera, some people must spend more time cleaning and not creating. Love the videos L have learned a lot.

Hi Andy Nice easy little bowl with nice grain and soft sheen finish. (No rain today?) nearly midnight here with heavy rein, thunder, lightning so I’m off to bed. Thanks for sharing Regards from NZ
Hi Mal... I'm glad that you liked it... We have had a few sunny days recently 😎.. rain today ☔️ I hope that you are enjoying some fine weather now... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Hi STM.... I'm glad that you liked it... the foot is such a simple way to finish the base... I don't sell anything but I would imagine about £15.00 Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
No wood articles such as bowls, platters, goblets, or cutting boards should be placed in a dishwasher. The finish will be destroyed immediately, and it is very likely that cracks and splits will form soon thereafter.
Thanks Andy, I have been a little afraid of trying to turn a bowl, but after watching your video I think I’m going to try it. What was the ruff size of the block of wood that you started with? Thanks again, merry Christmas!
Hi John... I'm really pleased that my video has inspired you to have a go at turning a bowl... The dimensions of the wood are 6x6x4 inches... A really good size for your 1st attempt at a bowl.... I hope that you will enjoy making yours... Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and yours... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy

The little foot helps the look of the bowl. What do small bowls like this sell for at craft fairs in your area?
