this is a very good analysis of both the view point of a toxic lover seductress who is yanking their partner on a very dangerous tightrope on purpose, toying with how they can both help and ruin them. but i also love how you focus on how the song can also be an inner conflict between darker and lighter sides of Selugi. the idea of good, dark and balance is PERFECT
Great analysis on the music video I also want to add that, the music video also accurately depicts the mind process of a toxic partner in a relationship. As even though seulgi says "I swear I need you, my desires are growing" showing that these kinds of people do indeed have an emotional attachment with their supposed 'victim' but that emotional attachment is not enough for them to treat the other person right. Also the unhinged sadism these kinds of people tend to have, loving to mess with the mentality of their partners with no regards to the consequence it might have on their psyche, as it gives them this feeling of authority and power. Seulgi says "the more you'll break, the more you'll want me" a statement made of complete hubris even though they themselves are also dependant on their "victim". But their arrogance also tends to be very fragile, as even the smallest actions from their 'victim' could be considered challenge to their authority in their eyes, leading them to lash out on their 'victim', showing the hypocrisy of these types of people
That was quick, I didn't know you would be making a video on Seulgi's new mv and I watched it yesterday hours after it came out. Thank you for doing an analysis on this mv.
I absolutely love ur way of explaining! And i love how seulgi used the unique concept ''good and evil''. Also combined the snow white and grimhilde story into her music video! She is an ace!
You can say it's a lot like Carl Jung's Map of the Soul. The persona, the shadow, the ego, the true self. The duality of the shadow and light, the good and bad. The true self isn't good or bad, the true self; the soul just is and it's non-duality.

i think this mv also gives insight into red velvets lore as a whole!
i thought its about the battle against drug addiction. Seulgi is playing "the addiction". The dance, the choreo, the lyrics fits
that's a very interesting and detailed analysis ! Thanks a lot for sharing !
I loved your theory and analysis 🤧✨ Thanks for sharing it!
