      She might be the most talented too guard to ever touch a basketball court.. He had the explosiveness the touch around the basket the range. He could hit you in the post. Too bad you just didn't have a great organization around him..where you drafted really makes a big difference in your career. Give him shack and Phil early in his career or Tim Duncan and Greg popovich early in his career.. I promise you he has multiple rings

    Vince was ungodly this year and unless you actually watched it youd have no idea. Here is a few of his stats people dont look into from this season
    #2 in PER
    #1 IN OBPM
    #2 IN BPM
    #3 in VORP
    #3 in OWS
    #5 in WS
    had below a 10% turnover rate when he was top 5 in usage rate which is phenomenal . 55% TS against the league norm of 50%.. a 114 ORTG against the 102 league norm . Metrics were also superb +11 on/off ...shit 41% from dee9 on 5 attempts a game when shooting 5 3s a game was nearly unheard of as a league norm . Great passer. Shoot off the ball or pull up in your face from anywhere . Had 92 blocks as a tenacious help defender. The youngins dont understand that at this time vince was the premier perimeter player in the league and many including myself will tell you THIS year and in 2000 he was better than Kobe. Better than tmac . Better than ai . Better than ray allen . Any of them that had similar numbers either had way lower shooting %s or another great offensive weapon to play with them. Vince was all alone . He was the Raptors offense. Only comparable was Iverson and he shot 32% from 3 and barely cracked 43% overall. Last but not least the leaping ability. He was the phenom face of the league during a time where social media didnt esist. Had this vince played today hed be as popular as lebron doncic Kawhi curry and so on if not more popular ( didnt say better just more popular )

      Boring you say? Do u got game? The basketball played today is so much better than before. In today’s game you have to guard the whole floor. No more sagging in the paint. And if you’ve ever played on a nba floor (I have multiple times) you would know that’s a hard thing to do. It’s a lot of area to cover. Especially when the players are so advanced.

    • @286mic
      @286mic 3 роки тому +5

      @@buckisz today's game is boring. Shoot threes or or layup, that's it. Defense? Praising defense in today's game is absolutely laughable. How many of the big stars today are legitimate two way players? The system today is built to hide/protect every defense liability out there. Luka is an offensive genius but the man can't guard someone 1on1 to save his life. James Harden? Forget about it. Today's game is fast, but so was the league when wilt or Oscar played which resulted in their insane numbers, same with today's players. To think that players are "so advanced" is ignorant. If you're talking skill, so many players can hit a three but can't shoot free throws, or create off the dribble. Big guys can stretch the floor but can't get 10 Rebs a game and have no footwork. If you're talking physicality, players are healthier than ever because of advance medicine. Science and technology can make huge jumps in short periods of time but human evolution doesn't work like that, 30-40 years doesn't separate a human physically that much, that takes centuries.

      @@abuhassan8849 No. Vince played against AI in 2001 in the second round. Try again homie. And if you watched these clips, Vince is more talented than Tmac and Kobe and it wasn't even close. Vince was naturally more gifted than them. He jumped higher than both of them, he shot better, he did more athletic lay ups and he even broke a 3 point record in the playoffs this year against the 76ers by shooting like 7 or 8 3pointers. But Kobe had the mental gifts that both Vince and Tmac lacked.

      @@RulingClassMentality Yes, but you said Vince won a playoff series in the 2nd round. Something he never did before joining Dwight's Magic. You're right that Vince had amazing athleticism, but same goes for Kobe & T-Mac while being far more skilled. T-Mac blows Vince out of the water in term of talent and what he accomplished. Absolutely nothing suggests Vince was on path becoming one of the greatest players ever. Rather, Vince is on same level as guys like Ray Allen & Paul Pierce.
