Just 15000 bond for such a terrible incident!!! It should have been minimum 10 lakhs. The brutality of the incident is just so bad - he didn't even have the sympathy to stop the car and check on the victim and just kept dragging her - so fucked up. In India no one cares about anybody else besides their close family and friends - everyone else is expendable - that is the culture of India.
I live in North America and there are many times I think of coming back permanently to my home town Mumbai, but when I hear and see incidents like this, accident in Pune, accident in Mumbai and so many other accidents in India I say to myself, my life is better in North America

There is close to 90% chance that he will be out in < three months if somehow focus is shifted on other aspects, and this will remain just another chapter of road accidents in India, where the culprit was granted bail bcz of his strong family connections!

@@ocean3057 I am not making any fun. Just wanted to highlight how power and influential people manipulate the system and get away with their crime. If you remember in that case one person died and four got seriously injured. And the eyewitness (Constable Ravindra Patil, was his bodyguard ) got heckled by the law. He suffered from acute tuberculosis and died a slow painful death in a government hospital.
He is taking Salman's name because back in 2002, Salman Khan had a similar accident case, where he lost control of his car and it ran over people sleeping on the pavement. But, Salman Khan did end up getting punished for the case.

How can anyone drive at that speed in Bombay ? What possesses these people ? Speed kills ! Also there’s no excuse in india to be driving drunk multiple e hailing taxis, normal taxis , auto, annnnnnnd most people with a bmw and even entry level car have a driver just like he had yet he made him sit as a passenger. Often the driver doesn’t want the boss to drive in these conditions nor does he want to be driven by an intoxicated person but they fear losing their jobs I’ve seen it countless times and it’s inexcusable behaviour, so so so so selfish as it’s always someone innocent that gets hurt or killed, actually murdered because you know driving drunk can lead to loss of life you know what you’re doing is wrong, it’s premeditated. I’m so sorry this happened to this poor lady ❤
