Taiwanese people are amazing. Definitely some of the most friendly people on the planet. If you ever have the chance to go to Taiwan, I would recommend it 100%. I loved my time in Taiwan. Also try 卤肉饭 if you ever go. Very delicious!
Being American, I didn't understand a word of that news report but I understood everything that the story was about. What Linus Tech Tips did for that boy was amazing and I hope the honest PC builder is very successful form this story.
The shopkeeper side of it was basically saying that netizens were praising the shop and calling it "the pride of taiwan" later on the shop became very popular and cant keep up with orders and several orders were placed for the same PC that was built for linus. At least, that is my limited understanding of what was said roughly.

Not to mention the guy who made the PC got a lot of exposure. He left a message on the video and was super wholesome with a ton of people telling him how awesome his work is. Just a really awesome story all together.

A US$5000 computer, only had one problem, the 4 sticks did not work at 5600mhz, had to just use two sticks and it did (still 32GB) Maybe the store owner knows how to fix it, or offer to trade the two sticks for some other accessories.
32gb is still plenty though, if only gaming won't need more anytime soon. only time i think you need up to 64 is in heavy content creation/editing and so on, he'll likely will never need it. Still if shop owner wants to figure it out that's cool, i just don't think it's worth trouble of bringing to him for that.
he didn't seem to have a problem showing his face on the news, it was probably just linus being considerate anyway, since the video probably makes it super easy to find the store.
It was probably because they shot it in secret and of course didn't want to come out and tell who they were in fear that it may make the build extra special and just wanted to experience first hand what it's like to get a PC in Taiwan. Needless to say, his shopping experience turned out very well.
