Hey Parul, could you make a video on bill 96 which was passed in Quebec a few months ago and how it will affect the international students who are planning to study in Montreal ?
Starting in Fall 2024, graduates of English colleges (CEGEP) must complete 5 French Second Language (FSL) courses. After arriving Montreal for 6 months, you will receive only French services from Quebec government unless it is health care related. Small companies (with 25 or more employees) must conduct their business in French. This will affect hiring inadvertently. Starting in 2024, tuition for out-of-province Canadians will be doubled in the three English universities; namely McGill, Concordia, and Bishop's. This will result in enrollment decline. Children of immigrants can attend French public school for free, but not the English public schools.
