Oh, I love that you are making new videos again. And that you're seriously back on the bike.

Bonjour Laurent, it’s always good to hear from you. I’m starting to ride a lot more to get more comfortable from the accident. (And mont tremblant) Im Hoping your weather is as good as ours in Ontario. 👌👌👌👌

Asakuraaaaa. Long time no see. Hopefully you’re riding in these super hot summer days. I couldn’t get a bike because of the massive shortage. I sent it off to a specialist. They repaired it but…… this will be retired soon since i don’t love it like I used to from the accident. I’ll make a review on the new one 😎

Would you say the MAAP is superior to the Cafe Du Cyclist stuff you tried? Only really need 1 long sleeve jersey for the short "winter" I have in SoCal.....

BILL MA BOI, I’m so sorry for the late response. Your question stumped me and I’ve been thinking about it a lot. For more than a week. I even thought about writing an article about it to compare 5 brands I really like. I guess my question to you is…. What style do you prefer? Both brands are fantastic but they are completely different in their own way. Maap’s green long sleeve will do what you want but it still looks generic but that material is FANTASTIC. MAAP goes for a minimal modernistic style that every brand kind of does now a days whereas Cafe Du cycliste has a traditional Parisian style. Cafe is one of the few brands that creates a traditional Parisian style piece that looks dope and looks different (depending on what piece you’re looking at). You can’t find anything out there like that. You can look at their pieces and even say it’s good enough to wear without cycling. If you don’t care much for the aero gains and care more about looks and traditional style while still have amazing material, I’d go for cafe du cyclist. If you want a super minimal, technical fabrics with ’hypbebeast’ vibes, go MAAP. Good luck and tell me how it goes. However MAAP’s gravel series looks dope as heck (the vest I have)!! Ahaha

@@perfectlyfitted thanks for the reply man, I got impatient and pulled the trigger on a MAAP Evade Thermal long sleeve jersey. I definitely agree with your assessment: looks clean and minimalist with excellent performance. I have a bunch of Rapha stuff and you can tell it’s clearly a step up in quality. It also stays EXACTLY in place. This will be my go-to long sleeve thermal. I’m still eyeing up the Cafe Du Cyclist stuff for the same reason you mentioned: I’m defiantly not worried about any marginal aero gains on 99.99% of my rides… I will be checking out Cafe Du Cyclist for a nice short sleeve jersey or perhaps a vest. PS: I also splurged for Assos bib tights and I probably won’t order another brand of bibs in my life. So comfortable! Already eyeing up a pair of their bib shorts for spring/summer/fall.

@@billfrigo7602 BILL bruh, that nice tight feeling is what makes me go back to MAAP. I have yet to pick up a rapha long sleeve. Maybe I’ll do that next as a review since their stuff looks awesome. DUDE those assos bibs. They break bank accounts but they feel amazing. I keep looking at other brands but they are just build different and it works so well. It’s hard to find anything close to that quality. I wanna go on a bike ride now, lool.
