This was one of my many favorites. I remember the rehearsals that week and how John envoked "though there are times..." at 1:32 after he sang the second verse to que us to come in bcuz we kinda kept missing it..LOL. Much love to the late Edwin Hawkins and Walter and Joel. Good Times. Great song John. I love that classic EHMAS groove it has, too.
