This conversation was extraordinary (not a word I am just saying lightly). Not forcing a political "correctness", not omitting questions because of how they might be perceived, allowing a growth of understanding by freely admitting you have no understanding. Real people speaking realistically about hard realities without equivocation. How constantly I've felt our society, our lives need more of this and just never finding it, certainly not in any mainstream media. Thank you, really, thank you.
Aside, don't lose the grey streak, it looks so good.

As a curious human being I love your conversations, Armie. You make me think more about everything. Thanks for that. Also, for being real. Not afraid to touch any topic, but doing it in a respectful way. Big thanks to Seven for opening up his world to us. Oh, oh... don't think I haven't noticed. I think he is clumsy in these remarks and that he does not assume his tastes very well. For the difference between a girl of 16 and 36 days and 17years is minimal it is much too young at that age the girls are immature.

I've noticed how comfortable the dog is with Armie. The moment when the little animal puts its head on its leg is beautiful. Animals can see people's energies, if Armie didn't have good energy that furry boy would be restless with him, growling or pulling his teeth.

How much did Seven grow on me through out that conversation! I felt like he was my friend and I could trust his points of view, though i knew nothing of who he was before this. Most counselor/therapists i have met have a superiority in their telling, like they'd seen it all and understand everything. I felt none of this with him. A pleasurable inquisitive interaction. At the same time i was extremely defensive of Armie in the beginning, feeling as if the only thing Seven knew about him was the negative accusations. Not his abilities, all he'd overcome, or the fact that he is the MOST amazing actor. CMBYN has had so many dissertations written about it, has a huge cult following, and it's only a fraction of what he's done. There's an innocence and curiosity in Armie's accumulation of understanding that is endearing, while he still holds strong opinions and questions things that have crossed my mind. Love everything about this podcast. Thank you so much Armie, Jerry, and Seven!

Thank You, dear Seven and my beautiful Armie for this interesting conversation! And Scotty is just Love! 😍
I watched the issue yesterday, but I'm still thinking and wondering whether to write or not. I hope that at least someone will read and my thoughts will respond to him. I don't know anything about addictions, alcohol or any other. But I guess that addiction cannot be cured, we are looking for a new one to replace it. there is a void inside, a hole that you want to close. and not just with anything, but with inner peace and joy. Well, let's say happiness. but nothing and no one from the outside is able to plug this hole forever. It's always temporary. It's just a hormone shake-up. even a million dollars a person will not be able to enjoy indefinitely. and the money will run out, and the drug will stop working, and even a loved one may die in the end.
but man is made for happiness (and for what else?) and when we realize that it cannot be found in the world around us, we finally turn inside ourselves. and there you can suddenly find an endless source of joy! Ok, maybe not so very suddenly. this feeling is like recovering from a long illness. You just start enjoying your life. of course, this process is accelerated when you go through super difficult situations, such as when you are hanging by a thread from death. And when you're given the chance to live again, it just feels good! You like everything! and the nasty neighbor, and the weather, and the reflection in the mirror. but what is the need to die in order to love life? It may sound pretentious, but isn't the very fact of life in us worth admiring? A whole person appears out of nothing. any person, like any living creature on earth, is cool! with any of his joints. anyone is worthy of love. and even more so yourself! it is much easier to love yourself and others when you realize this commonality, sameness. well, like a fraternity, with a common surname 'Alive'. and when you love and accept yourself, others, and a nasty neighbor (I don't have any problems with my neighbors, just an example 😁), then somehow miraculously the hole closes, and that very peace of mind comes. any addiction (and not only that) is some kind of problem with yourself. It's not someone who didn't love you, but you don't love yourself. and, of course, you should not love yourself for your beautiful appearance and achievements. But for the fact that the higher powers chose you and animated you. Well, then you're kind of especially cool in their opinion and you don't have to argue with them! That's all I wanted to say.
I apologize if the text is unclear, I wrote it with a Google translator.

Wow you wrote it Beautifully and I agree with you. Thank you so much for writing this, I hope he read this. The love that he was finding all his life lives in him, we don't have to find it elsewhere it's in us but this small thing that I said and you said is the most difficult to understand and to accept and live like that. But yes he is lucky to have this second chance where he and life can go hand in hand and find love, peace and happiness.

A couple of notes; you have the right to your opinion no matter what it is, that doesn’t mean you have to express it nor does that remove the repercussions from expressing your opinion.
Also it is not someone else’s job to school you on a subject that you don’t understand, you have to take responsibility for your own understanding and educate yourself.

My nibling has always said that the *most* important part of someone's attitude towards them being non-binary is that they are trying to understand and trying to be respectful. If you misgender someone accidentally or deadname them, as long as you hold your hands up and say "oh, shit! I'm so sorry!" and from then on continue to do your best to try and use the correct pronouns/name etc that is what's most important. It's simple respect when you think about it; if you meet someone and his name is Michael but you misheard him and have been calling him Mark all day, you hold your hands up, apologise and use his correct name going forward. You don't question his right to existence as Michael because you believe he should be Mark. Even if you even think he should be Mark anyway you shouldn't ignore his request to call him by his "preferred" name - whatever your opinion just keep your mouth shut and call him Michael!

Loved the episode today. Great conversation. There needs to be more conversation regarding transgenders and non-binary. Too many people are so deep with their beliefs that they are unable or they refuse to consider that their beliefs and what they have been taught is wrong. I've been a Christian since I i was 12 yrs old and I've been that believer that told homosexuals that they are wrong. Society has changed a lot and for a certain population here in America that are afraid of change. They want an America that never really existed in the first place. As for you Armie, keep up the good work. I've only missed two episodes but will get to them soon. This has become my favorite part of Mondays. I love the realness. I too have been through some hard places emotionally to the point that I contemplated suicide on more than one occasion. It takes a stong person to admit that they were wrong. I look forward to seeing new movies from you. Until next week. ❤

Dude! This is my favorite episode so far! I've identified as a cis gender straight woman my whole life an I always will, but I have a lot of yang energy. My outward personality has always been more aligned with yang. I'm dominant, even though I'm only 4' 11" men are intimidated by me. Its HILARIOUS! I have always been a tomboy. I always played sports with the boys growing up an wrestled etc... Never wore dresses (still hate dresses cus they make me feel vulnerable). My standard outfit is cargo pants, sports bra, tank top, barefoot (unless going out in public, then it's steel toe boots). I will NEVER grow my hair long. But, I've always loved an been attracted to men. There's so much more I could unpack here... But, today learning about the two-spirit of indigenous ppls was awesome as well as the six genders in the Torrah. I love learning fascinating new things (at least new to me). Also, I found it amusing that when I first saw Seven (had no knowledge of him prior to this), I instantly thought 'ah, he used to be a woman'. Then I was like, wait I could be wrong an it turned out I was right on the money. That was cool! The fact that Seven is SO OPEN is exquisite! I LOVE it!
Also, in regards to the perfection spoon feeding of celebrity an media to the public, fuck yes we're sick of it! Cus we know it's b.s. What you're doing with this feels the closest to 'true perfection' I've ever seen in regards to you, Armie! Love your openness too. So pls, more of this kinda stuff!!! Awesome episode guys! Keep up the great work! 👍 😊

I think they didn't realise what a contradiction they were making. Insulting JK Rowling for wanting female only spaces e.g. when fleeing domestic violence from a man and then at the beginning stating they couldn't see a man across a field without being in fear. Imagine a young girl in a changing room where a man could have his private parts out but because they say they are female that's okay. I just find the contradiction really interesting.

Same here! There was one time, though, when Armie tried to ask a question about that. But he put so much effort into phrasing it nicely, went in circles, and, in the end, the question didn’t make much sense, so they just moved on. From what I understood, he wanted to ask something like (at least I would have asked this if we had here super chats): What about situations where people or imposters pretend to be trans, even going as far as transitioning, just to gain access to women’s spaces, prisons, or sports?
I have to say, I was completely captivated by the conversation. I didn’t even take a cigarette break-which is huge for me, as I usually can’t go more than an hour without a smoke.

I unfortunately stopped watching/listening to some previous ly great pods. As they became unrelatable. Also get back in movies and tv shows asap( I know it's out of your control) but I've enjoyed your presence in films. Oh and one other podcasts idea. Like I don't know how you can make it interesting but I think it'd be beneficial for your listeners. But getting someone on to explain financial literacy. Obviously you had some hard lessons to learn on this matter but so have others. It took me till in my 30s to understand saving, investing, ETFs. Why low management fees matter etc

Armie, not sure if you ever read these comments, but Jamie Kennedy wants to do a pod with you (whether on your pod or his). I think it would be fun and interesting. Don't even have to talk about politics or anything, just Hollywood cultures and movies you both enjoy. Would also help promote your podcast to do the rounds. Hope you will reach out!

Armie, is there a way to make that person (u know who) stop publishing lies about you? She keeps accusing you and creating many more stories. I can’t believe she has the freedom to do what she does on social media.
Well, about the podcast, all I can say is that you were born to do this! But don’t stop making movies 😂
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 all the kudos to you. Also thanks Seven for being so open and patient educating us. Also thanks to Jerry and Scott 🤍

Armie, there’s inconsistencies in your sobriety story. On a previous podcast you were asked if you missed alcohol, and you said yes sometimes you missed the taste of vodka, but that you could never just have a little bit, and you feel better not drinking.
But in this podcast you’re saying you didn’t have a problem with alcohol and that you still drink because you don’t have an issue with it and can just take a couple sips. You were previously an addict, but do not practice a sober lifestyle now and I wonder why given your past. I also wonder why you changed the story on this when it comes to alcohol, you contradicted what you said in a previous podcast where you posed as being sober…

yeah I was really not thinking he was an addict but I took him as one because he said it. pretty interesting that today he says he is not an addict! i was right all along, but curious as to what he is saying then when he says he belongs to AA and can relate to addicts. i think he said he used AA to stop drinking or something. I hope he goes in more detail about this :D

    1. Armie doesn’t have “the good side” - his both sides are perfect. Nice to see him getting chiseled again - he looks at least a decade younger and finally healthy. (Not a compliment, just a fact).
    2. His hairstyle now makes him look so much like his dad. Subconsciously or consciously keeping this connection?
    3. Seven lost focus at the end because Armie’s charm got him at full speed. Intersex is not a joke - it appears you can try to focus on only one of your sides yet the other one will sabotage you at times. It was obvious.
    4. Good to know Armie is libertarian “in some aspects” - there is hope there :)
    5. Interviewing someone who detransitioned next would be logical, if you care to see the whole picture instead of falling for an agenda.
    6. Can Armie interview a woman besides his mom? Or he doesn’t feel ready yet to do it?
    7. Am I the only one feeling like all topics of this podcast keep orbiting the same theme? Isn’t it time to start heading in new direction, to expand a bit?

I have a question about sex adiction: does it mean that sex is a means to an end and that whoever you have sex with is secondary? What is it like to have healthy sex for someone who experiences sex as an adiction?

The problem with society as a whole is people spend to much time commenting on other people's lives rather than taking care of their own disaster lives. Who cares if someone is gay or trans or having an affair or doing drugs or alcoholic let people live their lives they don't need running commentary from Tom Dick and Harry. Love this podcast and Armie. Love seven too although I hadn't heard of him until now. Ignorance spreads fear educate yourself learned a lot from this

I have been religiously following Armie Hammer’s podcast. The only female he’s had on it is his mom. Who is a more tasteful version of Tammy Baker. But anyway, his newest guest is a trans male. Armie goes through a lot of gyrations to say I am so sorry in advance if I don’t understand the right wording to address you respectfully please correct me at any point in time. I just want to learn. Don’t we all?
With this episode Armie has finally hit his stride
