- This is a new series of Stationeers with a twist on the normal gameplay. We are going to play an old game scenario that is hidden.
I will not be making anything so everything I need has to be scavenged or traded for. Each derelict we visit will have a random selection of items so we have to hope we find everything we need.
----------------------------------------------
This is a gameplay series based on the custom world of Loulan in Stationeers. Usually, an easy option but this run will have a limit of NO fabricators! Everything we need will have to be found or brought through the trader. What could go wrong?
Feel free to join the discord server and see what might happen when multiplay is ready for larger groups.
Such an interesting challenge. I've never seen this challenge before, but it is really fun. I think maybe you could say that your initial printer was busted, so you have to find a working printer. And that's the only way to make anything? IDK, I suppose with the trader, you really wouldn't need to print anything ever! LOL ( I don't think food decays on Loulan...???)
Food does decay now since that was added after this scenario. I could have said that about the printer!
This is very cool! I was wanting to make a mod/scenario with this kind of gameplay. I tried out using the Robot race and Vulcan, which is really cool and a desperate run to find places to quickly recharge batteries. Very easy to get lost, too.
But Vulcan is just hell to play like this. Had never seen Loulan but it looks like a great choice. Have a good one!
It is a fun scenario to play. I'm hopeful the updates have made it playable again as more things load in. Well worth a try.
Cool take on Stationeers gameplay, this should be an interesting series
This is an excellent concept for a series! Love it!
Wish there was more "scenario based" content for Stationeers. I've tried to think of things to do myself, but haven't come up with anything yet. This is the closest I've seen to the concept of "Stationeers beyond the sandbox".
Awesome to see this from the start Will 🥰 Never played it but I enjoy ur gameplay a lot!
Thanks! Hopefully will get some more up as soon as I can. It is a complicated game to say the least! 😅
Very Interesting. I like it!
+1 sub nice to see stationeers content! Keep it up
I would carry a ladder to aid in exploring upper levels.
I liked to use wire coils to make arrows on the ground at structures for navigation.
Like the idea but cables have limited angles to work with. It is very easy to drift a few degrees and end up miles away by the end. Maybe some sort of note with a direction. 🤔
Looks like an interesting scenario. I may have to give this one a try.
Just a thought on your previous series. You could push the unedited streams onto UA-cam, if not this channel a new channel specifically for streams?
I was thinking about it but they are quite long. One of them ended up at 8 hours. 😅 What hasn't helped is internet connection issues over the last few weeks. 😭 I was thinking of a super edit of some of the most crazy things that happened.
@@JustWillYT An edit would be good.
Oh interesting idea for series!
Yeah something different to the base gameplay.
Just a heads up I know about the spelling mistake in the opening credits now. Only took until the 6th episode! 🤦
Excuse me. The Fort type is not useless. Dig down in the center and have a look.
I will not give a spoiler but it worth the effort.
🤔 Where is my spade? 😂
I've always had issues finding water, or specifically transferring water into a drinkable format.
There are some structures that have rtgs buried deep, the military compounds and the elevator building, depending on how deteriorated it is.
Also, if you are digging out the basement be careful as there can be hidden pressurized gas that can damage you for impact.
I vaguely remember that about RTGS. I'm worried about digging too much as I had two failed starts to the series. 🤣 I think there might be something below the base worth digging. 🤔
@@JustWillYT exposing the ladder to the basement is usually without danger, then I climb the ladder and pick around me. The ladder holds me in place as the air repressurized
The ladder below the center room of the military compound, and the ladder below the solar panel room off of the elevator building.
Had to abandon a save because of lag,
(object lag) nothing to do with graphic
settings,maybe the re factor ain't that good?🤔
The old save was back in 2020. As more structures spawned the game still simulated it like a normal base. Once you have say 100s things go a bit slow.
Currently it is holding up quite well now and is still keeping good frame rates. Just a few bugs due to it being a deprecated scenario and needing an update.
