Interviewer was clearly biased against the movie, which is fine, but just getting up and leaving if you don't get the response/reaction you were looking for is so unprofessional and rude!
Usually in an interview like this the interviewer would say something like "it's been a pleasure talking to you", shake hands, and then get up and leave. But this guy just went "yeah alright" got up immediately, only shook hands with Duncan because Duncan raised his hand to shake as the guy was leaving. The way the interviewer left is definitely not the usual way to end an interview, and it was definitely enough to catch Duncan off guard.
Duncan Jones handled that beautifully. What a guy. That interviewer was a twat. "We're you the right man to write the script, but the wrong man to make the film?" How rude was that? Jesus.
I enjoyed it, too. Were there things wrong with it, sure, but not enough to not like it. It's the prefect story to set the stage for a nice little trilogy.
I dont get this how it should have been 1 movie? like this is 1 movie from the 1st game I dont think they are gonna touch that anymore in the sequels but if u mean that the whole Warcraft should have been just 1 movie then that is just not possible...it has 3 games plus datadisk which is also pretty big itself so its 4 games and even if they make the 2nd game into 1 movie I dont think they can put the 3rd into just 1 movie cause there is a shit ton of content which really shouldnt be left out cause its all pretty important and it connects so if they want to put Warcraft into film then better do it properly and I think thats what Duncan Jones wants cause he is a fan himself so I dont get this thing about it being 1 movie like the dickhead in the video asked cause that just wouldnt make sense you cant put it all in 1 movie thats just not enough
Technically resto druids dont use magic per say. They use a form of druidism, which is a push and pull of the life forces of the world itself. Kind of like shamanism, but the difference is that shamans barter with the elements to borrow their power. Whereas druids kind of have to borrow the life force of nature, having that life of nature be basically sacrificed and given up by whatever the druid is borrowing from (say a tree) in order to restore and or use the purpose for borrowing it. Magic itself is generally idealized around the arcane, void, and chaos (fel). The way that they describe fel magic, is a mix between unstable arcane magic that has been tainted by void magic. Arcane magic can be used in different categories, such as necromancy, ice, fire, water, etc. They are all forms of arcane magic, but they differ on the way on which they take form and the force that they require to take that form. Sorry for the long post. Im kind of a lore fag and a wow bitch. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but there are definitely somethings that i would change or critique for the upcoming sequel. if i got anything wrong, please feel free to double check me and correct me. Thanks!
His guest clearly thought the behavior was odd, probably thinking the interview was going to be longer... And with how charged the questions seemed it was odd for the man to just get up and leave like that: because he clearly had many gripes with the film that he wanted brought out in interview form. To be honest, you could see this as a slow spiral of decent into a bad place... And the only credit i'll give to the interviewer is that he got up and left before he got visibly angry.
Not really. Movie interviews especially those done after a press early screening (like this one) have a fixed time. Both the Inteviewer and the one interviewed set and are fully aware of the duration of said Q&A. He clearly stormed off earlier than expected which can be understood from Duncan's reaction being looking to the sides. He tried to find officials/organizers of the Q&A confused as the time set was not met.
+greg obrien You gotta admit it was abit weird how he just turned to the organizer and said "ye" as if he didn't listen to a single word of what Duncan said in his last answer. It looks like he was just waiting for Duncan to finish talking so he could get out of there.
+*NinjhaCypriot* lol, yeah that looked completely ridiculous. But... isfaik, interviews often have to end after a while. And that can be quite abrupt. The journalist probably never did this that often, because it was very unprofessional (but so was his criticism of the movie imho, at every point he had some criticism I basically disagreed with him).
I wouldn't call what he did rude. He asked quite pertinent questions, but certainly in a fashion that was meant to throw Jones off his game. It reminded me a bit of my Thesis defence. Several questions were asked in a manner that was meant to disturb my confidence in my thesis, but the key to a successful defence is not getting your feathers ruffled, and simply answering questions with honesty and un-apologetically. Duncan does a great job here, and addresses the inquiries sent his way with dignity and confidence.
Duncan Jones did an incredible job! Because game is so rich with races and factions, lore is just immense. I don't see any better version of the movie.
Very strange and unexpected! Did he run out of questions? Only part of this interview that I could relate, and agree, to was, "...there were a lot of very good characters with well structured backstories. I could feel the backstories pressing against the film, but I couldn't access it..." Duncan answered it very well. I hit Google straight after the film to learn more about characters and loved the reading about them and the Warcraft universe, plus maps of course! There was a high-fantasy void lately that Warcraft filled for me. Film was an adventurous, visual treat. Looking forward to many more sequels.
Duncan handled this guy well. Massive fan of Warcraft lore and even though not the greatest film ever, I still enjoyed and watched it twice! Can't wait for the extended cut. Bring on the sequel
as someone who's learned about 1% of Warcraft through osmosis thanks to being friends with a fan of the series. I fucking loved this movie and I kinda want more *Cough* all *cough* of it right now
great response! great movie! I watched it with my wife, mind you I'm a gamer but I have never played warcraft. my wife is not a gamer, and has never heard of warcraft, nor her girl friend who also watched it with us. guess what? we've all love it because we understood exactly what the movie was going for. we only wished it was 30 mins longer in order to flash out a few more moments prior to the baby Moses' scene.
I am always surprised at how many individuals close to that age group not only loved the movie, but also play(ed) Warcraft and World of Warcraft. The interviewer is that ONE exception... lol
Babbles That guy sound like Typical Rotten Tomato critic with similar age groups & Very few video gamer actually became pro critic .So these so called movie Elitist thinks Video game movie is an insult to Movie Industry . He was rude to the director
That's not much of an argument. A movie should never have prerequisite requirements to know about the lore of the universe inside the movie to understand what is going on/enjoy it. I watched the movie myself and I loved it, but if I didn't know anything about the world from playing the games - I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did.
Duncan is probably my favorite director not because he made this movie but by how well he handles things- his attitude is perfect. He did the best that I think any director could have and best of all he paid respect to both sides in this adaptation. Duncan is excellent.
This movie was great for what it was, the critics are full of shit and judging it way too harshly just because its a video game adaptation. Its really unfair but fortunately it did well overseas. I hope there's a sequel, it was good and successful so there's no reason it shouldn't.
I was really hoping for this to go well. Duncan seems really cool and I hope he does more things in the future. (things unrelated to video games preferably)
who is this rude interviewer? Duncan Jones handles it all very professionally, but the interviewer is garbage. I was never interested in Warcraft until I saw this movie. I just wished they kept the deleted orc scenes in the finished cut.
This COMMENT right here... EXACTLY THE POINT of THE MOVIE. Shhesssh... I think they just were poo pooing it cos of Peter Jackson is now in bed with the ... dare i say it... wicked queen... and thus.. knighted.. can go on to do any other film he wants. Duncan Jones meanwhile, after gracing us with Moon and Source Code... oh yeah... sheesh wait, says Critics.. maybe we shouldn't dis this movie cos its NOT ACTUALLY ANYTHING LOTRS story wise. Never mind its based off story lines taken from computer games. LOTR has a thriving Computer Game library now.. so... if you want to be biased... go judge those games compared to Warcraft... guess what?... Warcraft beats most LOTR games hands down. Also... LoTRs it was a boring ass book about Bilbo's furniture in his home for about 3 chapters... action is obviously there, but what a slow start. Warcraft... Its story IS in the action. Critics. We get your frustration with lack of knowledge of the material. Perhaps do what i did... I read up a bit about the basics of Tolkien's world before i embarked on the fairly entertaining films. I couldn't get into the books though that it was based on... Each to their own.
It's called the 'connect the dots theory' First thing I learned as an actor and later as a writer & director. "give the audience enough information to connect the dots to get the story across and they will enjoy it. To much and they feel belittled and babied, to little and they feel lost. Just enough to keep them from getting confused and just enough left for the audience to build a few pillars of their own to make it their own. I.e. reading a book and having your own idea of ho the character looks. This movie was on par with how much info it give you. Simply put.... the reviewer was a moron. My best mates eight year old children understood it all.
Lol that ending was so awkward. That journalist had every intention of making duncan jones squirm, and when he didn't get that got up abruptly and left sulking.
It's funny how people say Duncan is bad at directing and telling the story in a compelling way etc. When he was forced to cut almost a third of the movie at the request of the studio... I mean, there is a novella of this movie with all the stuff in it that was cut. There everything is explained. Blame the studio, not the director!
It's because of people like this guy the movie got bad reviews. I loved the film. The changes made sense and it was well put together. Why does the guy feel the need to know everything in one sitting? Medivh's story will be uncovered in other films. Why can't you just watch in aww like I did?
Everyone who's talked about the film being bad on the premise of not understanding the fel or why Medivh is corrupted aren't thinking hard enough. This man has sincerely pissed me off, and I admire the hell out of Duncan even more for handling the moron without loosing his shit
Yeah some people just seemed like they just didnt pay attention to what was going on I mean my friend didnt know anything about warcraft and we went to watch the movie together and he understood everything and even agreed to play wow with me. Some people are too dumb to understand stuff and just blame it on the movie!!
The way the guy got up was kind of weird, it was sort of a "okay, please stop now" vibe. Even Duncan gave him a look like "are you running away? I thought we had a few more minutes?"
It's called the 'connect the dots theory' First thing I learned as an actor and later as a writer & director. "give the audience enough information to connect the dots to get the story across and they will enjoy it. To much and they feel belittled and babied, to little and they feel lost. To have a director as a fan of the original RTS game, as a warcraft player my self. I think we are lucky. I have noticed alot of small things in the film that pay tribute to the RTS game. Like how the Human Troops move in fights. Film is brilliant end of interview
I'd rate my enjoyment of the film as an 8/10, but critically at a 5/10. I'm sure if we get that full 40 mins back, then those numbers will both increase. I'm really hoping for a 10/10 enjoyment and critically a 8/10, and seeing what WAS there, that should be easy if we get that much more time.
It seems as if the interviewer was trying to get Duncan angry on camera and failed. They are doing this more and more now. Keep up the great work Duncan.
Duncan Jones is such a good sport, love Moon and Source Code. I think warcraft was pretty crappy, but mostly because you can the see the scars it took from being in production hell for years.
Duncan Jones handled this interviewer so well but tbh I wished Warcraft was better... probably a lot of this was due to the fact that it was a shorter theatrical cut
like how the guy was trying to Diss warcraft but Duncan was like "fuck off, ik what I'm doing and I made an amazing movie" but in a lovely British way....kind of xD
well atleast the interviewer was kinda right about medivh. although i liked the movie i felt like they should've put more into the whole lothar, lane and medivh friendship and his coma...still, good movie!
it was cool part but it was not explained very well, but there is a scene in directors cut where its explained better, too bad we did not get that one in the cinema version...
Yeah Khadgar could've told some guard (or someone who was asking about Medivh) about the order of Tirisfal and his mother, and how that power now resides in Medivh - Could have been done fairly quickly
Then they would have to explain the whole burning legion thing much much sooner, wow's lore is pretty damn huge with so many big stories and characters. And there is still room to explain what happened to Medivh in later films, they can use sargares then. They were always going to have to change things to make the movie.
i was not a person who played wow or the original rts trilogy that came before (although the lore is interesting) but i absolutely loved warcraft and i believed that it was an amazing introduction to this universe , does it have its problems? well yes but what film doesnt and i personally believe the bad does not overshadow the good
About the only thing I agree with this interviewer on is his criticism of Medivh. Medivh is too important of a character to just gloss over. He should have been a larger focus. He has a huge, important backstory.
The first question the old coot asked was already unprofessional, "would you be disappointed if I said the buildings are misplaced?" That in itself, he said something incredibly subjective and from there, increased his rudeness towards duncan. Duncan was amazingly professional and handled the interview well.
My god this interviewer seems to have a huge chip on his shoulder. I found it physically aggravating to watch. Sure it may not be a perfect film but you don't need to sound so all knowing commentating on it. Duncan showed incredible restraint imo
The interviewer was right about the insufficiency in some of the main characters' development like Medivh and Garona. We simply didn't get enough of their backstory to truly be compelled by their fates. If I hadn't played the games and didn't know the lore, these would have looked like pretty flat and underdeveloped characters to me. I only hope that we get to see more character development and backstory in the uncut version, which is around 20 mins longer than the theatrical from what I hear.
I liked the movie, it wasn't supposed to fill you in on all the Warcraft lore, it wasn't Lord of the Rings level by any means. But it was enjoyable. It was action pact, fast paced and a well acted movie. I want to give Duncan a hug and PUNCH the interviewer for being so rude... at the end when he left and Duncan was like " oh... ok. " my heart sank :(
I expected interviewer to fail miserably somehow, but it actually was an intresting interview, mostly because of good answers to badly constructed questions.
My wife went with me to see this movie. She knows nothing about Warcraft and has never played any of the games. When we left she said, that was a good movie. I asked her if she was confused about anything; she looked at me like, what would be confusing, and said nope not at all.
Duncan Jones made the greatest Orc in history look like a bitch. Orgrim Doomhammer aka the Second Warcheif. He killed Black Hand, Guldan, Lothar, in combat. He lead the horde against the combined might of the alliance and nearly won. He even survived the war and taught thrall how to lead the orcs. He ended up dieing at durnehold freeing the orcs.
Well. You do make a point. Although Gul'dan died in the Tomb of Sargaras.(and Blackhand would have won if not for this expedition) And Doomhammer died at Hammerfall(therefore the name). Not to mention that he was a Blackrock orc. Not Frostwolf. Cheers. How did you feel about Medivh in the movie? How his relationship with Garona was handled? Poor Med'an. He never gets any spotlight.
In warcraft 2 you kill guldan yourself. In warcraft three ogrim chases him down into the tomb and guldan gets caught between demons and orcs. I thought Medivh was well done. I felt like they should of had him corrupt Garona to kill the king. Indeed rip Med'an and Rexxar. I thought the movie would of been better if they only showed one side and not try to shove both in at once. I never really could get attatched because it was so wishey washey. I also felt it would of been much better if the humans were cgi was well. They collision of human on orc just felt so wrong. Humans from Azeroth were ripped and huge much like spartans from 300 but even bigger lol
Never played any Warcraft games or read the books and even I loved this movie. I feel the critics on this just wanted to hate it because it's common to hate video game films.
I feel like doing a movie on the first warcraft is like doing a movie on the War Of Wrath. Not only is it dense as hell, it's kind of missing the point.
The fun thing is when he replies to lord of the rings as something better, plotwise. No its not. The fellowship of the ring for me was hella weird, since i havent read any of the books. I didnt know where bree was. I didnt know who gandalf was. hell... if there wasnt a tiny introduction in the beginning i wouldnt have known what the story was ultimately about. So should warcraft have done a intro in the beginning? No.. Thats fucking boring.. This was of movie making makes you (the viewer who doesnt know anything about warcraft) use your brain to come up with ideas about how everything is put up, to later bee confirmed or not.. I'm 100% sure that warcraft will become as big if not bigger than LoTR trilogy
Terrible interviewer... I don't care how much you disliked the movie, it's not right to treat anyone like that. Good for you Duncan Jones, for handling that with grace... I would've exploded
"Came to fellowship if the ring with the maps on the books" . Well warcraft only exists since 1994 but the races must be fighting so much with each other because it has no officially cartagrophied and/or written or basically any other iteration of basic geography. "Medivh has been corrupted but we don't know how". Yes spending around 6 years in a fel ridden place devoid of any other magic kind has nothing to do with that whatsoever.
I am a warcraft fanboy played world of warcraft from TBC to WOD ( lvlup my main to 100 then quit for good cuz game is shit been shit since cata and I gave up ) I have read the books, most of them 2 times that includes war of the ancients ( all 3 books 3 times ) the last guardian , tides of darkness ( 2 times ) the warchief ( 2 times ), Arthas ( 2 times ) day of dragon , night of dragon and maybe more. even for me who knows all these stories, as a film viewer it was a fast movie with no/poor character building. guys believe me when I say I'm very very sad that the movie have no character building but it is the fact that it doesn't. everything happens very fast its like telling all the story of a one season of game of thrones in 2hrs ( Jeremy Jahns said that and I'm totally agree with him ) The beautiful and complex friendship of Durutan and Orgrim had to tossed away and be like Orgrim is in frostwolf clan because we have no time to tell the back story of them , NO he isn't and that's what's make that story line more deep the friendship they build poof , the doom hammer end up in Thrall's hand is a big thing but not anymore. what I really think they should have done is the movie be about 3 hrs and ends when the first group of orcs land in azorath , and in this 3 hrs movie tell the story of orcs and drenies and friendship of Lothar Medive and king lein ( sorry if I miss spell the names or anything else :D )
The guy is as rude as he can be to Duncan. He is a host and he does not start with greeting Duncan nor does he see him off, he leaves himself. He seems to get pissed at Duncan for not thinking the movie was a failure. And why would Duncan think that. The movie is a hit. Warcraft isnt perfect but it was far better then I dared to hope it would be. And I think the next film will be even better.
Really well handled by Duncan, that just show even more the nice person he is.
oh my god, duncan's face at the end as the guy just gets up and leaves, i love it
Interviewer was clearly biased against the movie, which is fine, but just getting up and leaving if you don't get the response/reaction you were looking for is so unprofessional and rude!

Yeah, I though "you didn't just ask that" when he said it
And the he just got up and left...smh
Lol ikr. What a loaded question.
Were you*
I enjoyed Warcraft.
I enjoyed it, too. Were there things wrong with it, sure, but not enough to not like it. It's the prefect story to set the stage for a nice little trilogy.
Nathaniel Abbott
Good to know.
I enjoyed it too!
Yeah it was fun. Not a masterpiece but definitely an entertaining movie.
it appears to me like someone off screen told the interviewer to piss off.
It should have been one film, but 45 minutes longer, as originally filmed.
Extended dvd edition will be comming. ( buy it btw. bigger chance of there beeing a sequel).
I will, if I get the opportunity, but it's unlikely that it will come to the eastern european market.
+suzz74 same... 3 times.
SAME lol

Make a sequel, Duncan, and I'll watch it numerous times... again!!
Duncan handled with class and full of knowledge!
"green magic is bad"
*resto druid hangs his head his head in shame*
Omg lol, good point there he may need to back track that if they make one with night elves!
this is gold

Shhh, don't give them ideas for the next expansion's class changes already! :P
Who the fk was that guy ?! he just left Duncan there and gone ?
+greg obrien you cant left befor your guest, thats rude for my opinion..

Well Duncan Jones is David Bowie's son after all. It's not wonder he handled himself like a boss. It's in his genes.
His Blue Genes?
Loved it, saw it twice. This interviewer is rude.
not really, people are so sensitive...
I wouldn't call what he did rude. He asked quite pertinent questions, but certainly in a fashion that was meant to throw Jones off his game. It reminded me a bit of my Thesis defence. Did you see how he walked out of the interview, and insinuating he shouldnt have directed the movie, he was rude from beginning to end.
A true interview. No sucking up just honest critical thinking and challenging questions.
Rememberes this randomly and had to watch again. What a legend
Duncan has earned my respect for the classy way he handled this butthurt interviewer.
He probably learned from watching his dad handle impertinent interviews for years. David Bowie, the King of Class!!
The movie was great and I expect at least 10 sequels! (I've never played WoW, only Warcraft 3)
Same :)
Missed opportunity, man. Should've tried WoW while it was good. The game used to be so god damn brilliant.
WoD was a shitshow in everything expect Raiding. Legion looks pretty good tho.
Duncan Jones did an incredible job! Because game is so rich with races and factions, lore is just immense. I don't see any better version of the movie.
The orcs were wonderfully made , i hope this gets a second movie , as a Warcarft fan , i wasn't disappointed
i love duncan's reaction when the guy leaves like wtf? is that it?
Definitely going to watch that extended edition.
Very strange and unexpected! Did he run out of questions? Blizzard fans are better than that :)
Hey, watch it. My father is older than that, still plays the game (unlike me) and enjoyed the movie!

Definitely check out 'Moon' if you haven't already. It's a cool Sci Fi film with an interesting premise directed by Duncan Jones.
great movie
I will definitely buy this film just to have a bigger chance of having a sequel )
I hope seeing Duncan working on a sci-fi movie with a large scale
I think he can handle it
this was like my exam
who is this rude interviewer? Duncan Jones handles it all very professionally, but the interviewer is garbage. I was never interested in Warcraft until I saw this movie. I just wished they kept the deleted orc scenes in the finished cut.
lol this interviewer, when it comes to the fantasy you need to suspend your disbelieve you are not a baby that needs to be told everything.

You could see by his body language that Duncan was surprised when the guy just seemed to get up and walk off. XD.
Oh Duncan, you cool headed hero! A masterclass in keeping your composture
THAT is how you defend a movie!!.. This man should have been in charge of the DC Movies :S
Duncan absolutely destroyed that guy lmao!
This critic is just an unpolite child
The movie was amazing!
The way the guy got up was kind of weird, it was sort of a "okay, please stop now" vibe. Even Duncan gave him a look like "are you running away? I thought we had a few more minutes?"
That was the most rude and spiteful interview that I've ever seen. Wow.
The film was perfect. Glad they went for character development and core lore instead of trying to throw everything in from the game in one movie.

the interviewer was cranky, and he loves lotr, he cant comprehend some new fantasy story ever taking its place
Duncan was on the ball in this interview damn
To have a director as a fan of the original RTS game, as a warcraft player my self. I think we are lucky. I have noticed alot of small things in the film that pay tribute to the RTS game. Like how the Human Troops move in fights. Film is brilliant end of interview
Duncan may the force be with you !
Wow, he's so literate. Love listening him talk about warcraft.
It seems as if the interviewer was trying to get Duncan angry on camera and failed. They are doing this more and more now. Keep up the great work Duncan.
I think he defended it very well. His Tolkien analogy was really well.
Duncan Jones is such a good sport, love Moon and Source Code. I think warcraft was pretty crappy, but mostly because you can the see the scars it took from being in production hell for years.
plus 45 whole minutes ripped from the film (thanks studio). and i imagine those 45 minutes are all character development scenes.
The whole handling of Fel magic and Medivh's possession was just awful. I felt that it was the weakest part of the movie.
it was cool part but it was not explained very well, but there is a scene in directors cut where its explained better, too bad we did not get that one in the cinema version...
Yeah Khadgar could've told some guard (or someone who was asking about Medivh) about the order of Tirisfal and his mother, and how that power now resides in Medivh - Could have been done fairly quickly
However, if he had told the guard about Medivh's mother battling Sargeras, there would have been no suprise about Medivh turning
Then they would have to explain the whole burning legion thing much much sooner, wow's lore is pretty damn huge with so many big stories and characters. And there is still room to explain what happened to Medivh in later films, they can use sargares then. They were always going to have to change things to make the movie.
i was not a person who played wow or the original rts trilogy that came before (although the lore is interesting) but i absolutely loved warcraft and i believed that it was an amazing introduction to this universe , does it have its problems? well yes but what film doesnt and i personally believe the bad does not overshadow the good
I have never been so excited in my fucking life to watch any movie. I Loved every second of it !!! I'm dieing to see the SEQUAL
Duncan Jones rekt this guy
My god this interviewer seems to have a huge chip on his shoulder. I found it physically aggravating to watch. Sure it may not be a perfect film but you don't need to sound so all knowing commentating on it. Duncan showed incredible restraint imo
These are really terrible questions. He's basically like, "Does your movie suck?" In every question. Wooooooooooooooow
It's not like every movie needs to be a fucking masterpiece ready to win The Golden Lion. Do critics still know what FUN is? I was entertained.
Duncan held himself like a real gentlemen here, and this critic was actually really disrespectful in his approach.
Here we come
Zag zag ZAG ZAG ZAG! ZAG! ZAG! ZAG!!! ZAG!!! ZAG!!!
Duncan Jones genius!
I liked the movie, it wasn't supposed to fill you in on all the Warcraft lore, it wasn't Lord of the Rings level by any means. But it was enjoyable. It was action pact, fast paced and a well acted movie. I want to give Duncan a hug and PUNCH the interviewer for being so rude... at the end when he left and Duncan was like " oh... ok. " my heart sank :(
Just found out this guy was David Bowies son, Weird.
Duncan is the hero here
I love this Movie, i playd WoW sins the beginning and this Movie was even Perfect Thanks Duncan, i hope ther will be a second Part and a third
I expected interviewer to fail miserably somehow, but it actually was an intresting interview, mostly because of good answers to badly constructed questions.
The interviewer didn't understand Medivh's Corruptness? I understood perfectly that Medivh got corrupted my "green magic" (Fel Magic)
The interviewer is against the movie, his behaviour is unfair :) Duncan handels the questions very well. :D
My wife went with me to see this movie. She knows nothing about Warcraft and has never played any of the games. When we left she said, that was a good movie. I asked her if she was confused about anything; she looked at me like, what would be confusing, and said nope not at all.
Ahaha wtf is with the ending its as if the interviewer was pissed and left 😂
He's so fucking sweet.
In my opinion the film was good, it was not the best I have ever seen but this film is much better than the critics say. I enjoyed it...
Lmao change the heading to Duncan Jones vs Random Fart
Never played any Warcraft games or read the books and even I loved this movie. I feel the critics on this just wanted to hate it because it's common to hate video game films.
I feel like doing a movie on the first warcraft is like doing a movie on the War Of Wrath. Not only is it dense as hell, it's kind of missing the point.
They should’ve made another
it was good movie story bit lorewise difrent but looking for more in the future:)
hahaha. that Interviewer embarassed himself. Duncan handled that brilliantly. Same goes for the movie he made.
that interviewer should get sacked for the way he treated Duncan.
I haven't played the games, but that movie was awesome!
This is a good movie. no defense needed.
Why you said defends is beyond me.
I am a warcraft fanboy played world of warcraft from TBC to WOD ( lvlup my main to 100 then quit for good cuz game is shit been shit since cata and I gave up )
I have read the books, most of them 2 times that includes war of the ancients ( all 3 books 3 times ) the last guardian , tides of darkness ( 2 times ) the warchief ( 2 times ), Arthas ( 2 times ) day of dragon , night of dragon and maybe more.
even for me who knows all these stories, as a film viewer it was a fast movie with no/poor character building. guys believe me when I say I'm very very sad that the movie have no character building but it is the fact that it doesn't. everything happens very fast its like telling all the story of a one season of game of thrones in 2hrs ( Jeremy Jahns said that and I'm totally agree with him )
The beautiful and complex friendship of Durutan and Orgrim had to tossed away and be like Orgrim is in frostwolf clan because we have no time to tell the back story of them , NO he isn't and that's what's make that story line more deep the friendship they build poof , the doom hammer end up in Thrall's hand is a big thing but not anymore.
what I really think they should have done is the movie be about 3 hrs and ends when the first group of orcs land in azorath , and in this 3 hrs movie tell the story of orcs and drenies and friendship of Lothar Medive and king lein ( sorry if I miss spell the names or anything else :D )
