She would be happy with half of his money just so as long as she gets a roof over her head. Suzie couldn't care less about her baby son, but she used him to win the couple's sympathy. Once the wife learned her true identity, Dirty Suzie realized the jig was up, cut her losses and ran after stealing a few valuables so she can survive for a while before she has to beg again or find another sucker.
