@Loopy I dont argue with that, being bilingual isnt any superpower. I just think, that percentage of multilingual people in USA is far smaller than Europe. Well, here is almost 100% lol.
Also, in near-border area it is easier to learn the language, I also live just right to 2 borders, Czech and Slovak and I can understand them quite well (not speak however, because it needs some learning)
The finnish guy was adorable, def someone I'd be friends with, I feel the passion for languages and cultures in that dude from miles away, its was so touching

Hello Cole! It's a great video once again.
Last night I dreamt in Albanian and in Finnish. I dreamt that I said përshëndetje (hello in Albanian) to some people. Then they started a whole story in Albanian despite the fact that I couldn't understand them. We immediately switched to Finnish after that. It's crazy how our dreams work huh? :D
Wow that's so awesome congrats!! Dreams are crazy, especially when multiple languages are involved hahaha. That just goes to show how much progress you must be making in Albanian!

@Loopy yeah but is not that simple in practice. French is much more similar to Arabic than to Portuguese. Just like Spanish, since the consonants are spelled just as the same way that arabs spell. Short and strong pronunciations. Portugese is real close to Italian because of the lightness in the pronunciation of words and that's ir. Another example is english people can't speak German with good accent and vice versa, is very easy to know that someone is from France or Germany when they're speaking english. This italian dude in other hand has almost native accent, in numbers maybe about 85 to 90% similar.

your accents are pretty good, i can't speak for others but your french and spanish accents are quite good (french especially considering that you said you can't speak it much but you make the sounds quite accurately) and your chinese accent is a lot better than other anglophones learning chinese (plenty of others have good comprehension but their speaking is sometimes weird, maybe i'm too cantonese to understand but still)

Hey Cole. We Americans used to speak 2-3 languages due to our parents coming from mainly Europe and they could all speak 5. This is in the early 1900’s. I’m in my 50’s and when I was little used to speak 3 but the Grandparents stopped and most stopped speaking because everyone at that time said we were born here and out of respect for this Country because America was the best place to be. Most of that generation is gone now. You only heard English in the streets until you went into different areas and their mom and pop stores. That generation deemed it disrespectful and arrogant to speak anything else. There was a lot more respect for our Country then. For awhile now we have a culture here that refuses to speak English anywhere they go and some are 3-5 generation American and it sounds like they are foreign. I have respect for everyone but not that way of thinking. Most move here due to the opportunity and a way better way of life.

I don't know why the guy taught you to say the word like that, but you don't have to say the word so strongly , just say it loosely, like "vagyok" not "vaggyok" . But you're still impressive :)
