That is so awesome, wish this place could run steam again, and this is the only video i've seen with the Shay running!
My dad used to be the fireman on the shay. I'm like 60% sure I seen him in this video.
Same gear loco was at Steamtown grand opening of 95. Surprisingly
Shay 8’s whistle reminds me of a twist between STLIM&S 5 and C&O 2716 in her SRR scheme
Never knew this railroad had a Shay? Is it still on their property?
No. It ran in upstate NY before coming to Steamtowns grand opening in 1995.
It’s now at the lowville and beaver river in update NY on display.
