Hi Robert, you are my go to, to debunk things....now I am in Australia (Victoria to be exact) we are surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and I can tell you one thing for sure - we still have plenty of mosquitoes, even in the middle of the bush (forest) with no water near by and there are mozzies! Keep up the debunking!
I watched your video about 10 commandments for butterflies, and after that I put a few small plants into a boring square patch of grass. It's now a beautiful tropical jungle. Sightings of multiple butterfly species are guaranteed. Every day it requires less effort and gives more beauty, color and scent. Thank you for being a great inspiration.
In this new COVID-19 Summer Gardening is replacing Baseball as the new American Summer past-time. Evidence: According to NOLA.Com, a Jefferson Parish Louisiana County Agent offered an annual Summer Course in Beginning Gardening and expected 250 signups. She was quite surprised when 35,000 people signed up. Gardening IS the new American Past-time. Thanks for another great episode of real Science Garden Facts. I wish I would have purchased your books sooner! 😉
I remember from agroculture school that it is need a few times more phosphorus that plant need as most phosphorus is not available to plants. Is it myth as well? When I fertigate my plants, should I give +- the amount of npk that test of the fruits, leafs, steams in the Internet shows, or should I give it more phosphorus?
"most phosphorus is not available to plants" is true. But adding excess does not solve this problem. The unused P is just converted to unavailable P, which you already have lots of.
How can someone who has over 80k subscribers get less than 10% on views? Is it because you say the same things over and over again? You’re probably correct but the redundancy might be leading to less interest.
I'm amazed! Despite the cult-followers of some of these myths, not a single dislike!
Thank you so much! Every time I get advice from strangers online I check if you've written something about it first. Saved me a lot of time!
So true about wasps. Wasps take care of so many pests!
Thank you for this great myth information!
