- After a lot of experimenting, I've found the best way to get reliable, cheap internet without a wired connection.
Perfect for boats, RVs camping, or any other unusual case.
If your phone can get a signal, this box will work.

I never thought about how you got internet on your boat
Very informational good video man
Hi Cullen! I've been meaning to follow up on this thread for a few months now... For Christmas, I followed your guidance and purchased the 5G version of this device/service for my wife, who loves to spend time at the boat watching UA-cam videos and tennis tournaments for hours at a time. This solution works FLAWLESSLY through the first 5 months. It avoids the throttling that all major mobile carriers invoke after certain volumes of data, and we've been able to stream video with no pixilation or hesitation. I (and my wife) thank you so much for sharing this knowledge with your subscribers at Cullen Craft!!! Cheers, Capt. John McCalpin
I'm so glad it worked, Captain John! Great to hear from you. We've gotta catch up sometime soon!
awsome thanks..glad to see back doing boat stuff
Thanks Brother will give it a try
Good information!
Great video, I appreciate the content.
Thank you. Off topic, thanks for your tip on Kumar grill. I got one after I saw your vid and I love it.
Awesome! I'm really glad you like it
Thanks for sharing
I enjoy the videos keep up the good work from Atlanta also I have a Chris craft 33 sport
Glad you like them!
NICE!!!!!
The last time I saw you, you had a short notice before your old marina closed down to be developed. I am subscribed, have the bell set, yet this is the first clip that surfaced in my feed. What happened? Glad to see you are still afloat, anyhoo.
It seems like UA-cam hasn't been prioritizing my channel recently, but that's OK. I'll just keep making stuff and you can keep checking back on the channel page every Saturday at noon!
Just saw this video. I can’t find the provider you talk about. Can you help me out with a link?
Thnx man....great video, appreciate your share, I'm in!!!!
Hey Cullen so sorry to hear about your dockage.
Question about your boating alone. Why won’t you explore it. It’s really not that bad
I'm worried about the minimum reaction time in an emergency. It takes at least 8 seconds to safely move from the controls to the cockpit while tying off, and vice versa. A lot can go very wrong in 8 seconds.
Get a hot spot on your phone. Also see if your local cable tv provider has a mobile app. Run a lightening cable from your phone to the TV and your all set. Internet access and cable TV on a boat does life get any better?
No mobile provider has unlimited hot spot plans. Trust, me... I looked high and low lol
I hate to say it, the old lady handles all the phone decisions we have ATT. I just pay the bills every month. Better than arguing with her over mobile phone companies…………
Haha I'd say that a pretty sweet setup
You don’t know the old lady 32 year school teacher set in the ways, hence the forty foot boat, internet & TV set up. Need an escape route. Winter maintenance comes in handy as well took me 3 Saturdays to water the batteries and put on new zincs 😜
Really enjoy your videos im working on my 43ft egg harbor aft cabin cruiser really appreciate the internet info One suggestion slow down lol you speak very fast It was hard to get the company name or maybe write it on something and show it Thanks again looking forward to watching your videos Good luck
This video was kind of an experiment in style. Your input helps a lot!
Pay for phone plan
How's it holding up months later? Really want to get it.
Solid. Been nearly a year now with no issues at all.
@@CullenCraft amazing to hear. We were using Verizon "unlimited", it's terrible. Throttles after 15gb of usage. Will be getting the calyx. Thanks!
