Seriously, i was really getting tired to all this Pokemon related videos, this video was like a fresh breath of air for me. I hope this means he would eventually continue (o better re-start) with his previous series like Ultimate Crossover Web series or The Psychology series.
His old content was amazing! I really urge anyone in on him post-poke switch to look back on his old stuff. Everything from one of the coolest R&C theories I've heard, to an incredible vid on the rustbelt gothic effect of Night in the woods, even an interesting take on Angry Birds movie, collabs with Arlo, etc. Gnoggin was all over the place with good stuff. Regardless of what the numbers tell him to do now, his new fans are in for a treat if they ever dig into some old stuff.

Personally interested in his interpretation of Combiners. I wonder, is the gestalt personality (Devastator, Superion, Volcanicus, Defensor, Bruticus, & etc.) technically a form of mental breakdown or more of split personality? Or are those technically the same thing?
@@dylanfrancis5996 Well for some it's a mental breakdown, like most of the decepticon combiners but that's because their minds weren't compatible. It's a merging of minds to create a new mind. Like the DBZ and Steven Universe fusions or The Emperor of Mankind in WH40K, he was created by a bunch of shamen fusing together to create a new lifeform.
Like how Menasor, Abominus, & Monstructor (ESPECIALLY Monstructor...) are all pretty much berserk lunatics? Huh, you know, I wonder how effective Menasor WOULD be if Motormaster didn’t bully/threaten the other Stunticons all the time?

Contrast Computron, especially the cartoon version whose components were all derived from a single mind. The Technobots also collectively put aside all of their emotions and individuality to focus on making Computron's mind more stable.

Same here. Especially love the Halo 1 version of it. It functions more like a grenade launcher as the projectiles had an arc to them. However, the projectile doesn't bounce at all at any range. If I'm mistaken then I'll be able to see for myself when Halo 1 is released on the Steam release of the Master Chief Collection.

Yeah this wasn't originally a largely Pokemon-exclusive channel, but Pokemon is what got the most views so that's what Lockstin makes for the most part.
Wonderful video as always man. Thanks for all the great stuff. Small detail though, I'd wager the reason Master Chief was able to survive the fall into the coolant was less to do with the coolant and more to do with the Spartan armor's "Lockup" ability. It's mostly glossed over in the games, but it is specifically used multiple times in Halo: Reach to survive normally deadly falls, including from a crashing helicopter and from Reach's orbit. Honestly how Armor Lockup works could take a video all on its own.

Nice to see a Halo video. Also keep recording things in Reach. It's a lot easier on the eyes than 5 thanks to the lack of extreme bloom and florescence.
I would LOVE it if you did a video on the Forerunner/Promethean technology! I loved the aesthetic from the moment Halo 4 was first shown, how there are always pieces that can levitate and reconfigure on their own. I bet it would make for a really cool video.

Speaking of plasma contained in a magnetic envelope, I'd love to see a discussion of the physics of lightsabers, explained in the EU as plasma trapped in a tubular magnetic loop. Like, what would it take to power a lightsaber? Is there a reasonable explanation for why they don't fry nearby electronics? How isn't a lightsaber too hot to wield? Other questions.
According to the Halo extended universe books, all covenant weapons that don't use a form of blamite or other solid projectile emit a level of radiation enough to register on the Geiger counters built into Mjolnir armor. It's also said a few times that the coolants used for the fusion reactors of both covenant and UNSC ships are radioactive, which may be radioactivity the coolant has absorbed from the reactors themselves. Assuming the Covenant plasma weapons do indeed use the coolant from their reactors as the basis of their plasma weapons (which would be a highly efficient way to dispose of the coolant after it's lost its effectiveness), it explains why their weapons emit radiation.
I rarely comment, but knowing comments helps the algorithm, I really enjoyed the video so here's a comment. It's good to see non-Pokemon related videos again. I enjoy Pokemon, but I think I got a bit burnt out.
