I haven't jumped into the world of "Cricut" - but seeing this video helps lower the fear of it all, haha. The window turned out lovely.
I have to say that this is the absolute best instructional video on how to transfer vinyl to glass! Way to go and thanks for sharing your technique!
Oh yay!! Glad I could help!
Wow that is gorgeous. Shes so lucky to have had such a beautiful window!
Keep coming back to your video for instructions ty
REALLY beautiful gift that will last a lifetime.
Love, love this. I just recently made a shadow box for my niece who recently bought a new house. I mirrored my vinyl words so I could put it on the back of the glass. The reason I decided to do this was so they would be able to clean the glass and it would not miss with the vinyl. I plan to add pictures into the shadow box and will try post pictures on Facebook group or Instagram when I'm done.
Sheri Mayberry if I mirror my words I can put the words on the inside of my glass
Sheri Mayberry was it difficult to apply the vinyl from behind? Since it’s not facing you when applying?
Hi ! Do you love the shiny side down when you mirror ??
This genius. Thanks for the tips!
That looks great! That's the method I always use. It came in handy when I applied an anchor with rope behind my side rear window on my Jeep Renegade.
Looks great! Now I can tackle my window that I have been scared to do! Thanks for sharing!
This turned out so beautiful. What a lovely gift. I have an old 4 paned window that my dad stained/distressed for me and put a mirror behind. Love it.
Ok this is GENIUS!!!! I 💗 this method and i also love your project!!! Great job!!!
Wow! I am so happy that I watched this before I made my first glass project! Thank-you!!!!!
Did it work?
This could not have come at a better time! I have 10 old windows to do and this will make it so much easier!!
Just got back into my old cricket and I loved this tutorial to help me with transfers! Thank you!!
Awesome! Soo helpful because my vinyl always comes out crooked! This will help a lot! 😊
I do chalk painting! This would be great with a mirror spray paint, loosely painted on the back, and a chalk paint painted over that and sealed! This is beautiful! The mirror spray and paint would give it a country glam look!
Thank you for sharing! I am getting ready to do this to a window this weekend.
Thank you Shannon! That is going to make my life soooo much easier! Especially for the larger projects. Awesome! You are my fave!
Thank you so much for your tutelage, I had a few mishaps but it turned pretty good.

Great tip!! Looks awesome!
Spraying the glass with Windex and then applying the vinyl is another way... This way you can make any necessary adjustments to the graphic and then squeegee out the liquid and air bubbles and let alcohol in windex evaporate. Works great.
Ann K don’t you need to use paper transfer tape for wet application?
No, I just spray the surface with windex and then place the decal on... If it's not perfect, you can move the decal to the exact position, I've even taken the whole decal off, resprayed and reattempted for the perfect position. Then I careful squeegee the remaining liquid out and let dry. Its super easy and very forgiving. Give it a try.
Love this project but you always do a wonderful job on everything.
GREAT IDEA !!!!! Thanks for sharing
Brilliant!!!! Thanks for the information. Super helpful for the project I'm about to do.

I love this video! THANK YOU!!!!!!

I absolutely love this. It gives me an idea for putting my grandson's picture behind a glass to look like a picture frame with his name and birthday under it. Do you think it would be hard to get a picture to stay in place?
Their anniversary is in two days. Happy one year to them!
Wondering what font you used for the names...it’s beautiful!
Great tip!
Great video.. Thank you!
GENIUS!!! Thank you!!
What font is "Rebecca" done with?

That’s beautiful!!! Do you use a Cricut?
IS THE TRANSFER BEHIND THE GLASS OR IN THE FRONT?
THANKS FOR SHARING
Beautiful did you frost the back of the window.?
Love LOVE!
Thank you so very much!!!!!
Nice job!
Thank you for the tip!!!
What font did you use?
Love love tyfs
When working with glass like this, do you guys mirror the vinyl and add to the ‘inside’ of the glass? Or do it on the outside? I want to make a WiFi sign and I’m scared my 6 year old will pick at it like she’s been picking at other vinyl!
If you can mirror I would suggest that.
And did you use a cricut?
Love it
Beautiful
Can you use vinyl without the machine or is there some other kind of letters you can use?
Could you use the wet application and use paper transfer tape ?
beautiful. which glitter sticker vinyl do u recommend plz
We have trouble finding old windows in Australia and I was wondering if I paid you to make and send me a window like this, if you could?
love it
Gorgeous
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Smashing! ;) x
Love this....How do you secure the glass to the frame? I have tried to use my glue gun but it seeps out and shows on the front and looks like a mess. Thank you.
I'm fixing to do some old farm house windows. The caulking has gone bad in them, and they're loose! I tried glaziers, but they're still loose! I'm going to scrape as much of the old caulking out as possible and recaulk them to secure the glass. They say you have to wait 24 hrs after you recaulk before you do your art on them to be sure they're dry.
Can you tell us the size for your large letter and your names?
What if on wanted to put that on back of window. Wha do I set my cricut on
How do you get your letter? Do you print them?
Where did you get the transfers? I would like to order something too
Niiiiccccceeeeee
Thanks! I see these appliques ON glass and looove them but i have two questions if you dont mind--
1-is there a vinyl that is sticky on the color side so you can stick to glass from behind and have the wording seen through the glass rather than on top of it?
2-Loove the look of old windows but my ocd mind wonders about lead paint on old windows (chippy or sanding the paint/creating lead dust)--etc--makes me pause to buy old painted house fixtures
THANK YOU-have a great day
I love this too. But the lead does give me pause. I have small children. I think if I put it high where they cant reach it. It should be ok.
You can seal the window frames with a clear seal and it prevents anything already on it from harming anybody.
is there anyway of putting it on the other side so you can't feel the vinyl when you are looking at it?
Thus is what I want to know also
Do you use a silhouette? I have a silhouette and am having trouble with script font getting caught and lifting as the machine is cutting. May I ask what settings you use? I am currently using the cutter at 1 - speed:5 and thickness:10. Thank you!!
+Cassandra D Try these settings:
Blade 3, Speed 8, Thickness 8 ☺️
Mine had a bubbles. Need help
wow..are you..GOOD...
Looks so helpful. Went way to fast.. I'm slightly confused
Hello! Where did you buy the names
They are created with digital cutting machines that use computer software to create designs and then will use specialty blades to cut the design out of vynal, paper, cardstock, iron-on fabric, etc. Largest brands I know of would be the Silhouette or Cricut machines. You can find at michael's or other crafting stores to connect with your computer at home (but they are fairly pricey). I just bought the Cricut Maker and I LOVE it! Definitely worth the investment for me.
how do you add vinyl to inside of glass so kids cant pick it off lol
What an awesome tutorial!!!! Thank you!!!
