great to see that beast of a Fidelity home entertainment centre in the Rumbelows ad. we had one of those and it was huge. Beat thing was it could record audio onto tape direct from the TV, so no more putting a tape deck up against the TV!

When I think of the Webster's advert, (a brand of lager made in the same area that created the world famous John Smith's) I remember the talking horses of the late 1980s/early 90s. An early indication of the slogan 'A thoroughbred amongst banks' prior to that theme tune with the Leo Mckern series of adverts. Jan Francis appeared in many of them, Nigel Havers in one of them of the early 1990s.
