Shop swag.totgu.com In the next instalment of a series of Tea 'n' Toast episodes celebrating 1990s Christmas TV - Jason and Greg move on to 1991 and what was on the box!
I was 10 in 1991! Love these flashbacks to the past and the nostalgia they evoke. The TV listings for this Christmas are really poor can’t imagine people talking about it fondly in 20 years time. Thanks for another fabulous video guys.
I was growing up in the 70's with only 3 channels to choose from and it was still better than the rubbish on tv now. Think I'll be listening to my vinyl collection this Christmas and turn the tv off.
great show. that's funny the difference in Christmas shows. I remember over here in the states the movie "Its a Wonderful Life" would play on every tv station on Christmas Day at different times so you could watch the whole movie by clicking through the channels and not see one commercial. That stopped in the late 90s but inbthe 80s and early 90s they would play that.
I don't remember any of those shows in the Pacific NW. I do remember Keeping up Appearances, Fawlty Towers, Doctor Who, Are You Being Served?, Vicar of Dibley, French and Saunders, Monty Python, Absolutely Fabulous, Black Adder, Mr. Bean, Thin Blue Line, tons of Agatha Christie murder mysteries from Mrs. Marple to Poirot. I'm sure there are others that I am forgetting though.
I’ve always wanted to watch the bill but it never came to Canada and I can’t find reruns anywhere. Fresh fields and French fields were great shows that we did get though.
Aren't the lyrics to Big Break theme "it's only a game SHOW, you'd better believe I'm right" Not "...a game SO, you'd better believe I'm right" which is what I think you sang :-D

I'm suddenly not that upset by the TV choices in the United States.
I really wish it was 1991 again. The best year of my life I just got my 1969 camero.
We got the vicar of Dibly also in Canada.
Modern TV is awful! 😂

I was 10...
I really wish I could watch only fools and horses and allo allo here In Canada. We got allo allo in Canada along with only fools and horses .
I'll have to get my Blu Ray DVD's out. Home Family Video's are better option then some of the TV this Christmas.

jason looks abit like john virgo :)
It seems that no UK Christmas is complete without an American movie to cap it off. Is it just me or is the final thing on every commercial a US movie?
I was 3.
I was...is that the time? Must rush.
No Charlie Brown or How the Grinch stole Christmas?? So sad!
Yeah bring back The Bill...
Wow only 9 views
Yes they should definitely be ashamed of themselves! Lol it's lazy television programming...anything to make a quick buck!
