So glad you have the talent, intelligence and skill to fix these things. Great work. Once that little bugger got started I thought it was going to do a header down the steps.
Our son gave us one a few years ago for Christmas and it was not complete out of the box. A year later he asked us how we liked it. We told him we never used it as it was not complete so he asked for it back. So I don't know what he did with it. But we really do not need one of these roomba's but sure could use a small skid steer. Thanks for the video's

Hi! Great work. I am experiencing some issues with my 671. came without dock and i tried to charge it with a24v charger. i ended up burning some components on the board. Do you still have the bad boardr around? will you be kind to tell me the code on a specific component i can't identify?

Good day. On this board, next to the large chip (near the corner of the chip) is an element labeled U4 or J4. It has 5 pins. It burned in mine, water got into the vacuum cleaner. Will you tell me what kind of element it is? I want to buy it separately and try to resolder it. Thank you.

I'm looking to replace the motherboard of my busted roomba but am confused about the options. I'm finding motherboards that are allegedly compatible with many different models of roomba, but these models all have different button layouts. How does the motherboard work with different buttons if they need to be hardwired into the motherboard? The board I'm looking at in particular says its compatible, for example, with both the 880 and the 650. Those two devices look completely different - will the motherboard really work with each of their different button layouts? How is that possible? Thanks!

I believe the firmware is installed in the board, it would not be stored anywhere else, you should be able to update it through the app, or it will do it automatically
