This is Upper Dreamweaver, Lucid, and Lower Dreamweaver. This is my typical warm up trail at the Shoe. Many of the lettered double black and black diamond trails branch off these 3 trails. These 3 trails are blue rated trails.

I took a day trip there yesterday with some friends and rented an enduro bike since my modified xc hardtail would struggle on the western side of the park. Dreamweaver/Lucid was probably my favorite trail followed closely by Portal/Upper Pro DH/Skyline. I was able to keep up with my friend who is honestly a way better rider than me for the first time in about two years. I think I need to get a trail/all-mountain bike now because I’ve never felt more confident than I was on that trip.

Nice! Yeah full suspension bikes, especially long travel enduro/downhill bikes, feel way more balanced and stable at bike parks. You’ll definitely feel more confident going faster and plowing through rocks and roots.

I have watched a lot of channels come up from nothing, and the good ones always reply to every comment.

are you using a gimbal? footage looks great. what sound setting on the gopro? conditions at snowshoe looked a lil moist, did it rain or something? i expected it to be bone dry. i'll be hitting up snowshoe in a few weeks. great riding!

Thanks! And nope, no gimbal. This is the GoPro Hero 8 which has the hyper smooth stabilization. It’s amazing. I use the auto wind reduction setting and have a foam windslayer covering around the camera to help with the wind noise. It did rain Friday night but the rest of the weekend was beautiful. I’ll be back august 1 and 2!

Hey man me and my fiancé are planning a trip to SS this summer. I was going to see if you had any recommendations for trails there that she could build her confidence on. This will be her second season riding downhill and has rode the beech mountain green trails and a few local flow trails. Any tips on maximizing our fun factor would be greatly appreciated.

The best trails for her to start on would be Easy Street (Snowshoes only green trail) and Dreamweaver. After that you could try Dirt Beaver. From there the trails get a bit more difficult. Ninja Bob/Ball n Jack/Powerline would be next up after the first three I mentioned. I love taking multiple laps on Dreamweaver and Dirt Beaver.
