Richy! That vlog you did at Patong when it was flooded was the very first video of yours that I ever saw, and I have been glued to the TV for your content ever since 😊 I think I would be a bit like yourself, and not too fussed in the high season. Would prefer it quieter, but it's good trade for the locals, at least. Are the fireworks for anything in particular or just because of the tourists? Lots of people on walking street, wow!
That’s great to hear Greg, thanks mate. Yes the locals totally rely on tourism so every bit helps. I have no idea about the fireworks they were far away so we never made it that far. It was nice to see though😊
@@ParkinsonRaw yes that is good can say I enjoy your walks in the rural areas it nice to see and you are probably the only western that goes ( or not that many ) I know when I was in hatyai I was like the only western there at that time lol
don't get what you're saying ,October and March pretty much the same re 'high season' in LOS . High season is 'our' winter months ,that is northern hemisphere countries ,so new year and Christmas are the peak . Both March and October are half and half . Do you want to know the best time to visit here ?
I was last here in October Ian the accommodation was a third of the price. I also went to Koh Samui/Phangan/Tao then as well and they were the same. Very quiet and cheap
Hey Richy rich. First true day of summer,I believe in south west London. People are all so much more relaxed, friendly and talkative. That's the fundamental reason why us Brits always bemoan the weather. Everyone is affected by days like today.
@@ParkinsonRaw you're inspiring me, mate. I'm going to become a Taxi driver and absolutely beast it 90 hours a week for 9 of the year and then Thailand for 3 months, exploring, not Pattaya degeneracy. Every year until I drop dead.
I will never understand why people of a certain age go to places like that. If your friends were in there home town they would go out of their way to avoid those sort of places. Spend a fortune and pretend to enjoy it. I could be wrong, I often am.
It was there first time in Thailand Tim, they were on a package holiday to Krabi, Ao Nang, Koh Lak then finishing off in Phuket. They had an amazing time and are already planning to come back.
I'm living North Thailand Phuket too upmarket for my lifestyle even for visiting
I love the north Duncan, I went there to see friends only. I usually go to the islands in low season when it much cheaper and quiet.
Great video loads to see and do, a little to noisy and busy for me 😂,keep the fab work up
Thanks Wayne, it is crazy Bangla Rd mate

I don’t blame you mate, unfortunately foreigners are not supposed to work in Thailand. That said you’d be able to find bar work
So. Many. People.
It is extremely busy in the Bangla Road area, I’m looking forward to getting back rural.
Kangaroo bar ,the one in Bangkok 20 years ago ,OMG
You can’t beat the bars in the old days mate

Hiya Simon, that’s good to hear mate. So very true that the weather affects people’s mindset, the sun gives you that feel good factor.
I'm in Scotland, our summer is 2 days in August 😂😂
I know what you mean mate I’m from the North🤣

Awesome video! Right in the thick of it. Hope you had a well-deserved great time with your friends. Life is good, my friend, stay well!
Thank you very much David, it was great to see friends. Life is so good. You stay safe too mate!
Crowded, people walking up and down staring at each other! No thanks, give me the country vids you do anyday! Cheers.

@ParkinsonRaw goodluck to them. But I'm sure they would have enjoyed a rural experience with your goodself far more
Thanks!
Thank you very much Jack!
Good Day Richy, Hope you enjoyed the time with your friends. Be Blessed.
Hi Jack, I did have a great time thanks mate.
My idea of hell.
Yes mate if it wasn’t for seeing friends there I definitely wouldn’t have went. I’m looking forward to getting rural, it was great to seem though.
Sorry rich cannot stand that place.
It’s ok mate, I only went to see friends. I won’t be in a rush to return.
@@ParkinsonRaw I'd actually rather go to pattaya than patong. And that's saying something. Hope your friends are OK.
They are thanks Graham, it was great to see them. I probably would myself and yes that’s definitely saying something
