  • Beaver’s son Kip (Kipp Marcus) and his friend Freddie Haskell (Eric Osmond) run into challenges adapting to the first few days of high school, while Wally struggles with having to give up his classic 1962 two-seater Corvette convertible in order to get a newer car for his growing family (wife Mary Ellen is pregnant) - so he compromises on a 1963 Thunderbird that seats five - in this 21st commercial-free episode of the Still the Beaver revival series called “Movin’ On” that debuted on The Disney Channel Sept. 4, 1985.
Future star Jack Black (School of Rock) has a brief appearance as Nick, one of Kip’s high school upper classmen tormentors who steals his lunch, and Robyn Lively (Twin Peaks, Doogie Howser MD, Chicago Hope, Karate Kid III) appears in the first of two guest appearances as Kip’s friend Tracy from Grant Avenue Elementary School who quickly ditches him for older boy Ron, played by the late Harold P. Pruett (TV series The Outsiders, Hull High, Parker Lewis Can’t Lose - he died of drug overdose in 2002 at age 32).
This is the 21st of 26 episodes in 1984-85 before the series featuring most of the original cast of Leave it to Beaver, including Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow, moved to WTBS Superstation for three more seasons under the name The New Leave it to Beaver from 1986-89.
These videos are taken from my Betamax VCR personal recordings of the show when it originally aired.
