    We have a borneo red jackfruit planted in our yard but we are years out from fruiting. Love this!

    Have someone drill a 1/32” hole through the center of the red jackfruit seeds and make a necklace out of them. Then when you get back home plug the holes with wood glue and germinate them all. 🤫

    You’re so lucky to have such beautiful fruits. I’m trying to start growing paw paw trees which I hope is successful. Feel like it’s the closest I can get to tropical fruit 😂.

      I just saw it at Asian market in LA. Maybe check yours? Got one spliced, it wasn’t as orange as one in video, but the taste was still sweeter than yellow variety.

    Never had red jackfruit. I love jackfruit. I have to force myself to stop eating it so that I don’t get a stomachache. Jackfruit can dehydrate you , I’ve heard of people dying from eating it while consuming alcohol. 🙌

    • @wendiland
      @wendiland  Рік тому +1

      Yikes! That’s good to know. Can you drink more water when consuming a lot? Probably have to ease into eating it. I know people that eat 1/2 fruit in a sitting.

    Are the seed available in the states- what climate will in grow in is it a vine or tree, bush? And can you make jams , jelly from them - I’am ordering smell and taste vision videos 😂😂thanks I enjoy your content keep it up peace be with you

      It grows in zone 10-12, but even zone 10 is pushing it…haven’t seen it made into jam, but I think it would be really good! Just saw red jackfruits in Asian market yesterday. Check yours if available and save the seeds to grow. Good luck!
